How disappointing in that he and his crew were abandoned for 11 months to suffer the tender mercies of the North Korean savages and then brought up on charges when he returned home. The people in Washington who did not credibly threaten to turn North Korea into a stone age environment to get them back from day one are the ones who should have been brought up on charges.

What heroic men Cdr. Bucher and his crew were! Please let an inspirational site be named for them somewhere. I recall that Time magazine tried to soften its guilt in aggravating torture of the Pueblo crew by implying that all it saw in the extended fingers was the word `help'. The worthless bastards at Time!
