It is amazing to me, but also hopeful, that the raw material for your thread continues to percolate, 58 days after you began these threads. Fighting CFR is not a front-burner issue, but at least it is still on the political stove.
The real world has kept it alive, a little, and you, my friend, keep it alive here on FreeRepublic. Thank you again for that.
Cordially,
Congressman Billybob

President Bush took an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America as did the entire House and Senate and the Supreme court. While I understand why Bush signed it (to take the issue away from the dims) he still violated his oath. He wimped out and hoped the Supreme Court would strike it down.
The strict constructionist in me is madder than hell that politics interferred with a veto that should have happened. I'm madder than hell at the "process" allowed the politicians to take away my freedom of speech. I'm madder that hell at John McCain said out loud that he wanted to stop the so called Club for Growth from running issue ads against him. I'm madder than hell that the politicians were able to protect their incumbancy. This is flat wrong from every angle!!!!!!!!!!!!
