Here's a recommendation. For the columnists (like George Will and Charles K) whose work is on the list but is also carried on Townhall.com, when you post them ALWAYS excerpt from and link to Townhall.com so that a CONSERVATIVE website gets the hit rather than a bird-cage liner rag like the Washington ComPost.

You should add the names of syndicated columnists like George Will who work for WP, but are published elsewhere. Most people wouldnt think to excerpt a Will column from the SacBee.

Does anyone else find it a bit funny that these organizations are coming after US, while almost every other board (especially the leftist's) gets a free pass? I'm sorry, but my sense of humor is not stimulated.
It occurs to me that selectively suing someone in that fashion - given that the selectivity can be documented - may be actionable. One would have to conslut an attorney... but certainly, to see the leftist media scum get impaled on their own stupidity in such a fashion would be nothing short of delectable.
Meanwhile, if anyone identifies postings on other websites which would fall under the restrictions imposed on this one, I'm sure it's our civic duty to warn them of their vulnerability to the predations of the media scum who sued FR... and inform the aforementioned media scum of the "Appropriation" of their materials... and watch to see if the postings remain... and keep records of all such transactions...

All we have to do is burn a CD with the original and the FR link while excerpting it here on FR. We can put a note to contact us for the full article if it is needed. I think there's an effort underway somewhere to archive the entire Internet (yes, that's right - every version of every web page) - and I don't remember the details, except that it involved some of the people who were busily restoring Usenet postings dating back to its inception in the mid-80's.
Eventually, if something like that occurs, any archive should become available (although possibly not for free), even if the originating source no longer makes it available.

I believe this is CENSORSHIP of the worst kind or better still, the Liberal kind. Liberals are running scared. THIS is about the ELECTION. How these people can put news out into the public domain and then say it can't be used is beyond me. I truly hope that ALL the US Freepers cancel their publication that have ANY connection at all to this. If this applied to peoples trash, the police would never solve many cases.!!
