It is the moral and biblical duty of Christians to choose representatives of great moral character who fear God. It is then our job to support them in prayer and stand with them when they are persecuted
And when they become weak and want to compromise we hold their feet to the fire.
All well and good but where are all the dinosaurs gone?

Go take a look at some of the 'Great Sites' that Retaking America is linked to.... Such greats as Michael Rivero, JBS, Alex Jones, etc. By their company they are known. The CP is dropping to the real dregs.....

When folks start babbling about the "New World Order" my brain tends to click off.
But overall the author has a good point about "Christians who blindly support Republicanism over righteousness". It's alarming to see fellow Christians who seem to rely more on gubmint than on God.

You forgot to mention the reforms a Kerry administration would give the federal judicial bench, AND do not forget the probable four SCOTUS appointments coming up during the next four years. A Kerry administration would surely drag us back from the precipice of total amoralism...Kerry certainly would support a marriage-protection consitutional amendment bill for submission to the state legislatures, wouldn't he? He certianly wouldn't do anything to revoke the partial birth abortion ban, would he?

"If their fruit is different than their talk then we need to fire them and elect a new Christian."Is there anything wrong with this?
No. In fact, holding government accountable is an act of love for one's neighbor.

The CP is dropping to the real dregs........and even lower. Howard Phillips was in high dudgeon on NPR this morning, insisting that President Bush add Scott Ritter's name to the WMD Intelligence Committee.

Truth is the Christians who blindly support Republicanism over righteousness have blood all over their hands.
...Unlike Christians who vote DEMOCRAT, the party of State paid Abortion....

"We have got to stop supporting a candidate just because he or she has an "R" before his or her name."
I think I would rather vote for the "R" and hope than to vote for the "D" and remove all doubt.

And Consortiumnews.com - dire hard leftists/Marxists. Fine company, indeed. Methinks if we scratch a bit we'll dig up some substantial anti-Iraq war sentiments and the bizarre trend of the far right nodding in agreement with the pathologies of the far left.

"We must put the blame at the feet of Christians for the crisis we find ourselves in today. " This gave me hope that this might turn into a responsible essay on the need for changing Americans' hearts.
Instead he calls to work for some Furher from the Constititution Party to be elected to force Americans to obey the Constitution.
Sure, people will elect someone to do what they don't want him to do LOL!

We must put the blame at the feet of Christians for the crisis we find ourselves in today. The Republican Party is not going save America. And our blind loyalty to it is destroying us. The party has been infiltrated with baby killers, sodomites, fornicators promoters, big government socialism, big spending money grubbers, anti gun Marxists just to name a few.
What did Jesus have to say on the subject of big government? Does it say somewhere in Paul's letters that Christians should pack heat? I think that the article's author is coming from the right place but imo he puts himself on dodgy ground if he thinks "Christian" and "Right Wing" can be used interchangably. Many Christian positions are considered Right Wing, but not all Right Wing positions are necessarily "Christian".

Are you suggesting that the Constitution Party is composed of Nazis?

Instead he calls to work for some Furher from the Constititution Party to be elected to force Americans to obey the Constitution. What do you mean by "Fuhrer"? The leading candidate for the Constitution Party nomination is Michael Peroutka, and his campaign is for restoring Constitutional freedoms, quite the opposite of national socialism.
Sure, people will elect someone to do what they don't want him to do LOL!
Would you please clarify this point? I wanted taxes cut and made the mistake of voting for Bush in 1992. I should have held him accountable and voted to replace him, but I did not know of a better option. The left-wing media did a poor job of covering tax relief candidates like Howard Phillips.

But in the whole the article is a simplistic escapist fantasy.
It's certain the people won't elect someone to deny them what they think government should 'give' them.

I'm stating that only a Furher, Caesar or dictator of whatever name can impose a government people don't want upon them.
