This would be a dream come true.

BTW, American Spectator needs some proofreaders, big time; I saw 4 typos just in the excerpt you posted! This one is the most interesting:

Ralph Nader, the Green nominee in 2000, appears lass (emphasis mine) interested in a run.

"I consider myself a super-Greenie and love Howard Dean with all my heart."

Please tell me you are being sarcastic.

BTW, Nadar was on the tube last week and said he might make a run at president but NOT with the Green Party.

A Green Party bid puts him into the debates with Bush and whomever the Democrats nominate.

No it doesn't, unless the debates are also going to include the candidates of the Socialist Workers Party (maybe Dennis the Menace Kucinich), the Libertarians, the Communists, the Constitution(ists), and whatever is left of Ross Perot's "Reform" Party.

That being said, Howard Dean's name anywhere near a ballot next November 2 has got to be one of F'ing Kerry's worst nightmares. If no other place, it could put California in the President's pocket and that would make this whole project game, set, and match.

Dean/Nader

Anyone who truely cares about the environment, equality and the people, yet won't vote for that ticket is a despicable hypocrite

he also said that he would only stay in race if he won Wisconsin. Then he said, oh never mind.

Nope, it's a ploy to get 2nd seat on the ticket.

Oh that wouldn't be so bad either.

But if Dean did indeed torpedo the democrats this year, that would be doing Clinton's work for them.

Kerry would have to spend time campaigning against
Dean, maybe he would vote for the war again. hmmmmmmmm flip-flop time in simultaneity.

Your right, the Green party must have a series of primaries.

As we learned from the last democratic President, there is a big difference in what a candidate will say he's going to do, and then what he actually does.

"President Clinton has kept all the promises he intended to keep"
-- George Stephanopolous, circa 1994.

it would seem pretty hard for him to switch now.

Consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds.

I think you're right. I mean the swing against Howie was dramatic and no one can seem to explain it. From being 20 points ahead to Kerry, in one month he drops to 20 points behind. It's weird. It's a conspiracy. A vast left-wing conspiracy. That's it.
