[history]
Islamic radicals are being trained at terrorist camps in Pakistan and Kashmir as part of a conspiracy to send hundreds of operatives to "sleeper cells" in the United States, according to U.S. and foreign officials.
The intelligence and law-enforcement officials say dozens of Islamic extremists have already been routed through Europe to Muslim communities in the United States, based on secret intelligence data and information from terrorists and others detained by U.S. authorities.

"U.S. intelligence officials said the camps, located in the remote regions of western Pakistan and in Pakistan-controlled Kashmir, are financed in part by various terrorist networks, including al Qaeda, and by sources in Saudi Arabia. Actually kind of hard to believe since we are flying everywhere over this country and have been for two plus years. We have it mapped out to a fare thee well by now. We may not own it but we know the topography. The camps must be stealth camps with cloaks of invisibility

actually they are probably in the tribal area of Pakistan where the gubmint has no pull whatsoever and leaves alone because they will overthrow the gubmint if they bother em.
Overfly or not, those facists operate freely there.

But U.S. and foreign intelligence authorities said terrorist training camps have been documented in some of western Pakistan's remote areas and in the disputed regions of Kashmir, and that military officials and others in the Musharraf government have not fully disassociated themselves from al Qaeda or the former Taliban regime in Afghanistan. This issue has been addressed and will be solved.....The Bush Doctrine. Remember?

No he thinks we evil Republicans, and President Bush made up all this terrorist stuff to get oil for Haliburton, and to oppress people of color, and to hide the fact that Prez was AWOL from the NG, and jsut so we wouldn't let him play Commander in Chief.

The solution to this should be simple --
Stop granting visas to people from countries where they want to kill us and seal our borders against illegal immigrants. Anyone from a country where a significant part of the populace or the government want to kill Americans, who is here legally or otherwise should have to go home now.
Unfortunately, most of those in our government view our borders as anachronisms that serve no purpose other than to inhibit the free flow of commerce.
How many more of us have to die before the elites and our leaders figure out that the nation state is still the best solution for organizing a civilization?

We need to crack down on these organizations, and stop hiding behind political correctness as a reason for inactness. I listened to Pipes lecture a couple days ago. He stated in no uncertain terms that we will have to be hit hard before the administration will do anything serious about islamic terrorism. He calls this (quoting) "Education by murder."
Until 10,000 or 100,000 die, which the muslims are more than willing to murder, bush won't act substantively.

This is the current inside information on exactly why Qaddafi suddenly threw open his nuclear vaults for international inspection:
He knows of a plan to detonate a nuke inside of America, and wants badly to be off of our retaliatory strike list. As one of the Islamic nuclear godfathers, he's "heard things." He knows. Maybe not the specifics, but he knows. And when it goes off, he does NOT want to be on George Bush's suspects list. People charged with keeping out and otherwise finding these devices are VERY worried. That's what I heard.

I will look to America to act. And as bad as it may sound, I would want Islam and all it's followers extermianted within thiscountry's borders.
Flame all you like; but if YOU ARE the one that is killed by one of the crazy muslims, would you like me to adhere to "Islam is the Religion of Peace" and sit tight?
Tell me. Would you like American's to sit tight and do nothing, again? Read the Quran, they don't like us much.

The government will immediately take steps to prevent such attacks from citizens to go about.
I also believe that the government will not act if a WMD detonates in the US, in the way we would want it to act against militant Islam.

Your talking about a deployment of force that simply is not possible of the military. The next go around, should there be one, military (marital law) will not be possible within "hours". By that time, least in my area, many will be toasted. Once the military arrives, it will all be over.
I don't mind telling you, I'm not much the bar going type, but occaisonally, I do stop by them and sip my beer in peace. The converasations that I over hear, albeit 80% of which is bullshit, is interesting in and of itself. It's the 20% that I believe will carry through. I live in an area where the "great white hunters" have high powered rifles, nice scopes and zero military training. Recipe for slaughter. And once again, not a thing the Gov't will be able to d about it.

BTW, I don't think U.S. military will be the one's "policing". I find it hard to believe that the men of our military would openly go after American's when yet again, islam attacks our country. (Firmly affixing tin foil hat), I believe what I will see are light blue hat's/helmet's.
Believe me when I say I will kill the men wearing them.

Election. That is interesting. What if we got hit in say, NY City. Or what about CA., somewhere, anywhere election night?. What happens? D othe elections get suspended or delayed (I would assume, I have not read up enough about this type of scenario).
Furthermore, I don't doubt were gonna get hit again. Our southern border (as well as northern) is wide open. Least based on what reading I can find.

The government may act and in fact the highest terror alert level does mention transporation restrictions. However, the National Guard has significant forces overseas. It's going to be real hard to control things, especially in the chaos.
Hell, they can't even find ONE sniper (the freeway sniper). What's it been 3 months? 20+ shootings?

Interesting that you bring this up. In July of 2002, Peter Kirsanow, a member of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights said at a hearing in Detroit, that if there were another terrorist attack, arabs and muslims in the U.S. would have to be placed in internment camps for their own safety. Ever since then, the tough guys at the local watering holes have been vowing to get to Dearborn before the feds and make sure there was nothing left to send to the camps. Some of them are serious, especially the "Good Ol' Boy" types.

Washington Times reports: "Islamic radicals are being trained at terrorist camps in Pakistan and Kashmir as part of
a conspiracy to send hundreds of operatives to "sleeper cells" in the United States, according to U.S. and foreign officials."
And...
Washington Times reports: "Eleven men, including nine U.S. citizens, were arrested last year in Virginia in what authorities called the "Virginia jihad." The men were accused in a 41-count grand jury indictment of engaging in "holy jihad" to drive India out of the disputed Kashmir territory. Six have since pleaded guilty."
It's strange how things work out sometimes. These terrorists infiltrators, and those that offer aid and comfort to them while they are here in the U.S., can actually end up hiding closer to you than you might otherwise expect. The following link is to an FR thread originating from a WSJ article that details how "the crackpot libertarian site", AntiWar.com, home of the infamous and now former FReeper, Justin Raimondo, hosted at least one of these very same terrorists mentioned in the above Washington Times article, as a "guest" writer on his AntiWar.com website.
