If the original conviction is vacated I believe a new trial can be ordered. Anybody know for sure?

Thank you for your very important post. I really feel for the family. How is the surviving child (is his name Josh?) holding up through all of this?
To: truthkeeper
As far as I know Josh is fine.He keeps to himself. Of course he is no longer a child he is I believe 29 years old now. I have seen him and his Grandma Mary on the TV show 48 hours. As with all family members they all want closure.
