Have they been hacked? Not a fake hack like Manuel Miranda, but a real Kevin Mitnik-like hacking.

Gremlins must be at work at ABC.

This is a great summary of media bias from a conservative point of view. It should be used by all of us to write newspapers and other outlets.

When the men on the chessboard get up and tell you where to go;
And you've just had some kind of mushroom, and your mind is moving low;
Go ask Alice, I think she'll know.
When logic and proportion have fallen sloppy dead;
And the white knight is talking backwards;
And the red queen's off with her head;
Remember what the dormouse said,

Liberalism's dead!
Liberalism's dead!

It won't be pulled from FreeRepublic, of course. It's here forever...or until JR's server fails.

It is a good idea to save the original work from the ABD site. I have it saved as an MSWord document and an .html.

It still has a hard time understanding how, despite the drumbeat of conservative grass-top complaints about overspending and deficits, President Bush's base remains extremely and loyally devoted to him -- and it looks for every opportunity to find cracks in that base.

All they need to do is look at what's been going on here at FR since mid-January to find cracks. I am deeply frustrated and discouraged by the attacks on President Bush that I've seen here and heard from so-called right-wing talk radio types.

You are talking about the same media that polls the public as to whether President Bush was AWOL duing the Vietnam War. A poll acertains opinion; it is a FACT that George W. Bush was not AWOL.

Musician Moby has gone public with an appeal to troll conservative internet sights and radio programs to disuade Republicans from going to the polls to re-elect President Bush.

There have been several threads about it this week alone.

There's more towards the bottom. Check this out [bold mine]:
The economy:

The Wall Street Journal's Greg Ip writes of the White House's "optimistic forecast" that the U.S. economy will create 2.6 million jobs this year, a figure which "would erase the entire loss of jobs since President Bush took office."

The Washington Post's Weisman writes that "Wading into an election-year debate, President Bush's top economist yesterday said the outsourcing of U.S. service jobs to workers overseas is good for the nation's economy."

Paul Krugman thinks President Bush's "recent cheerfulness" reacting to jobs reports "seems almost surreal."

Clinton's assistant secretary of commerce thinks that this time, deficits do matter.

Try to change the storyline and the press' attitude, or try to win this election without changing them.

My goodness! This is TOO GOOD to be true!

Perhaps they aren't all that crazy about Kerry after all...

Well, I spelled his name wrong. It's Mark Halperin. But he is the first name listed among the ABC staff working on the Note. And he's not a liberal.

I don't know why everyone's getting excited. If George Will had written this, no one would be in shock. But Halperin's both less known and his name isn't directly attributed.

Of course, all of this attention by Rush, Beck etal. will probably force Jennings to get Halperin fired.
