I don't even think he fought for this country in Nam. I think he was fighting for himself to build up a resume to help his political career. He is a calculating phoney.

do you know something I don't know or was that just a blanket stereotyping Vietnam veterans comment?

Ambrose can speak for himself but I took the comment as a slap at Kerry for his contributions to the sterotype you refer to. It was Kerry who assigned the terms murderer, rapist, toruturer and scum to our brothers in arms. Not Ambrose.

Interestingly, Kerry seemed to back away from the attack on W related to his National Guard duty. My bet is that it has nothing to duty with good scumbag crapweasel judgment and a lot to do with the fact that Kerry KNOWS he is dirty.

Normally, one would not go back 30 years to find attack material. The dems have done that and Kerry KNOWS that he has 30 year old dirt. It becomes the duty of liberal seekers of truth to uncover what he is hiding and bring it forward. My bet is that is has something to do with signing anti-American peace petitions or joining anti-American organizations (FBI files?), spending other peoples' money (that's what lefties do) or women. Kerry is a womanizer and ALWAYS has been. Let's track him 30ish years ago and see where he lived/visted and then review local police records both for attacks on females and pot related reports. Geez, if he were a Republican, media types could ask these open ended questions and even his denials would get legs. As a dem, no one would ever ask or, if they did, question his denials.

But, that is the key. There is something he did 30ish years ago that has become fair game. He KNOWS it and we should know it, too.

John F. Kerry ADVV. (a decorated Vietnam veteran.) in case you didn't know, hadn't heard, didn't read, etc. etc.

Pass it around and discuss amongst yourselves, there WILL be a test in November.

Almost makes one sad at the sight of the naive demorats, trotting out the same old play book, making the same old tirades, only to be blindsided by GW again, and again, and
again...........

Almost.

including tax cuts,

Is it extreme supporting tax cuts? Nope.

fiscal responsibility,

Kerry's 20 year record is very irresponsible.

health care,

Bush is extremely liberal here, and Kerry is worse.

violence against women,

WTF? Why then was it the ANSWER crowd that was violent towards women, and all the republicans I know are old school on it? Old school as in those that hit a woman get an professional ass kicking.

the federal judiciary,

Who in the blue hell is fillibustering? Who gave us the 9th circuit? STFU.

civil liberties

You're a gun grabber. STFU.

and national security.

Bull@#&#.

" ideal that the first duty of patriotism is to honor those who wear and have worn the uniform of the United States."

Which is why you and Fonda and Ramsey Clark were all cheering for Hanoi.

Bring it on."

I'll bring it on myself and will personally help send your sorry Communist ass back to Beacon Hill.

CNN characterized today's release by the Bush Admin. of the military records detailing Bush's Nat'l Guard service that were requested by various sources as "fighting back".

I understand your point. I honestly didn't get it in the first place. My dander was up, I admit it. It seems that every day more and more is coming about a man I've begun to call "Hanoi John" (what a difference two letters make). BTW, I'm way to young to have served in Vietnam but I did my time in a different conflict. :-)

Kerry views the Republicans the enemy and the terrorist-supporting extreme Muslim regime of Iran as friends. This letter from Kerry to the Iran regime borders on treason, or is treason -- it undermines US foreign policy.

John Kerry taking campaign to the enemy? [WorldNetDaily runs my tip-off]
WorldNetDaily ^ | 2/9/04 | WorldNetDaily

Iran's Mehr News Agency reports it has received an e-mail from the presidential campaign of Sen. John Kerry pitching the candidate as one who will "repair the damage done" to international relations by President Bush.

According to a report in the Tehran Times, the front-runner's campaign office sent the following note to the news agency:

As Americans who have lived and worked extensively overseas, we have personally witnessed the high regard with which people around the world have historically viewed the United States. Sadly, we are also painfully aware of how the actions and the attitudes demonstrated by the U.S. government over the past three years have threatened the goodwill earned by presidents of both parties over many decades and put many of our international relationships at risk. It is in the urgent interests of the people of the United States to restore our country's credibility in the eyes of the world. America needs the kind of leadership that will repair alliances with countries on every continent that have been so damaged in the past few years, as well as build new friendships and overcome tensions with others.

We believe John Kerry is the Democrat who can go toe-to-toe against the current administration on national security and defense issues. We also remain convinced that John Kerry has the best chance of beating the incumbent in November, and putting America on a new course that will lead to a safer, more secure and more stable world.

Kerry has been critical of Bush's foreign policy, saying the president has severely damaged relations with other nations.

While Kerry's e-mail mentions combating terrorism, Iran has been long on the U.S. list of nations sponsoring terrorism. Two years ago in his State of the Union address, the president referred to Iran, Iraq and North Korea as an "axis of evil."

FBI files??

Wonder if it's one of Hillery!'s fbi files.

I heard a vet today talking about all this "Guard" anger etc. his take was that it is displaced hatred from the late
60s when the Guard was used to bring order to civil demonstrations, Chicago, Kent State, etc.
A time when Kerry, Fonda, the socialist liberal left, et al
were on one side and the Guard on the other.

Mmmmmmm??
