What We Can Do To Help Defeat the "Gay" Agenda

What We Can Do To Defeat The "Gay" Agenda

Dear Fellow Freepers,

The following informal essay has two parts, the first consisting of ideas of what individuals or small groups can do to help thwart, roll back, defeat and otherwise throw a monkey wrench into the onslaught of the "gay" agenda and their stated goal to destroy the moral fabric of society. I am hoping that discussion will ensue, with theoretical ideas as well as accomplished plans. Information and knowledge are the key. Since most people just watch TV and read the establishment media, which are lapdogs of the "gay" elite, they just do not know the truth about homosexuality.

The second part is my analysis of the root cause of the homosexual movement, going a bit deeper than environment and molestation. It is "religious" or "spiritual" in aspect, so anyone who wishes to avoid that type of discussion can avoid it! This analysis is germane to the cure, not only of the homosexual agenda, but the untrammeled hedonism and libertinism of which homosexuality is the poster child.

[Note: I am not attempting to recap the immediate causes of homosexuality, or prove that it is not inborn, or give evidence as to why same sex acts are abnormal, unhealthy, or immoral, or to prove that homosexuals can change. FR already has hundreds of archived articles of this nature.]

Part One: Ideas on Promoting the Truth about Homosexuality

A friend of ours homeschools her children, so as to protect them from the horrible influence of public schools, instill her personal moral values, and give them the best education possible. She knew that homosexuality was unhealthy, immoral, and unnatural, but until I gave her books and booklets I purchased from Scott Lively's website (www.abidingtruth.com) she was not able to articulate her viewpoint. After studying the materials I provided, she became a one-woman task force, gave her elderly father books to read, and shared the books with the charter/homeschool teacher. The teacher, who also had not been very well-informed, had her mind blown (so to speak) and ordered more materials for herself, and placed a link to Lively's website on her personal website. Lively has a number of very informative booklets that can be purchased in bulk cheap, and they are great for distributing. So because I informed one friend, many others have been informed. This particular charter school is all for homeschooled children, and there are about 500 families involved.

By purchasing Lively's materials (or reprints from other groups such as NAARTH and the Family Research Council) and making them available at your church, synagogue or other house of worship, many people can become informed. Materials can be purchased and mailed or given to pastors at other churches, or any organization or club that you belong to.

I have found that if I talk to people in the line at the grocery store, or the cashier, often people are happy to find that others have the same viewpoint, but they are afraid to admit that they think same sex acts to be unhealthy or wrong. Just by speaking up in public, we can encourage others to think for themselves, and not be intimidated by social pressure.

Of course, letters can be written to newspapers (they've never printed one of mine!), legislators, and media people. We could try calling up local talk radio shows to tell the truth or attend school board meetings to protest the homosexual infiltration of the schools. Of course, by doing any of these things we will be "outing" ourselves as homophobes ;-) but that's the risk one takes by speaking the truth.

And then there are guerilla tactics: print up some fact sheets about the nature of and diseases spread by homosexual acts, statistics about molestation rates, etc - make them colorful and readable, and broadcast them about town. Laudromats, bulletin boards in stores, public facilities, rest stops, community college or other educational institutions, any place you can find. Good places would be where there is a lot of foot traffic, especially where high school kids can see them. High schools kids are really being targeted by homosexual activists, so the more they can see the truth, the better.

Another post-it tactic: make or obtain stickers with the names and phone numbers of organizations that help people overcome homosexuality, and stick them near high schools, colleges, downtowns, and so on. You never know whose life might change because of one phone call. Or, place ads in the classified ads section of local newspapers or weekly magazines with the same information.

Other promotional ideas are bumper stickers (make you own, or maybe someone knows where to order pro-family stickers). Ideas for slogans: Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve; Marriage=One Man+One Woman; Children Need a Mother and Father, Not Two of a Kind; Same Sex Acts Are Not Healthy For Living Things; Want to get AIDS? Be Gay!; Don't confuse "Exit" with "Entry"; Don't Mess With Marriage; "Gay" Sex Isn't Gay…. These could also be signs in car windows, yard signs, signs held at rallies.

Protest at "Gay Pride" Parades. If protesting at such public events, wear protective clothing and go in groups, carry antiseptic handwipes and have a camera and maybe tape recorder. No telling what might ensue. Here's an idea that someone freepmailed to me, and it sounds good:

"I have an idea I'd like to pass your way. I suggest that we get permits to set up tables in front of (or near) our respective churches/synagogues along the local "Pride" parade routes this coming June, with literature about reparative therapy. Each table should also have someone there to document all the juvenile insults and threats thrown our way on a videocam, and send copies of the films to the local tv news to include as part of their coverage."

These are just a few ideas. Let's hear yours!

Part Two: The Root Cause of Homosexuality

Everyone needs happiness, love and pleasure. These needs stem directly from the soul, and get interpreted through the body - think of how many people eat because they are lonely, depressed, or in anxiety. A healthy balanced person will eat when hungry, and when in need of companionship will turn to a relative, friend, or even pet for company. The need for love is really paramount, a deeper need than the bodily requirements. What hurts more, a broken heart, or a hungry stomach? Our culture has denied the fact - basic to all religions (probably a few exceptions, but this is not the debate here) - that human beings even have souls, what to speak of the needs of the soul. In fact, the accepted "scientifically based" theory is that humans are just machines, made of chemicals, evolved by accident, and the "self" doesn’t even really exist. In an atmosphere of such impersonal nihilism, it is natural that many people will be easily convinced that real love, real happiness, real heart to heart connection, don't exist.

What can take its place? Instant pleasure. Shopping. Drug and alcohol abuse. Or, most seductive of all, orgasms. And since the sexual organs have no conscience, a wide variety of options is available to people who have been convinced that God doesn't exist, there are no rules - or higher purpose - to life, and instant gratification is the only yardstick to measure happiness with.

There are two kinds of happiness - the kind that comes from the outside - eating, sex, comforts, and the devices or arrangements that facilitate such, as well as more intangible pleasures such as accomplishments, goals achieved, music, arts, learning, and so on. The second kind of happiness comes only from within the heart, and this happiness is our relationship with God. Jesus said that the Kingdom of God is within us, and the same truth is stated in Hindu scriptures (the Vedas) as well. A surrendered soul can experience the loving embrace of God anywhere, any time - if he truly desires and strives for this loving relationship. The experience that God is my best friend, my only refuge, my source of happiness, and indeed, the very foundation for and purpose of my existence - is the only real meaning of religion. Currently, in many religions, the concept that God is a real Person is left out, glossed over, He is described as an amorphous mystery, or that "we are God", or that He is just energy or a force. But according to Jesus, the teachings in the Old Testament, and the teachings of the Vedas, re-establishing a loving relationship with the Supreme Person is the only thing that will fill the emptiness in our hearts. If this knowledge is denied, as in most of our culture, people will seek to fill this void by any means at hand. And if the moral absolutes that are part of God's instructions to humanity are tossed out, then anything goes. If sexual pleasure is the goal of life, and there are no eternal moral truths, then there is no reason to not accept same sex acts, or, for that matter, any kind of sexual activity.

Therefore, the real antidote to the "gay" agenda, as well as the breakdown of civilization it heralds, is the spiritual awakening of many individuals, and the understanding that such an awakening is not only important but essential.

It disappeared before I saw it.

I'm just back "in town" and it will be a day or two before I can be on FR much.

Overwhelmed as usual. That's ok, idle mind/hands are devil's workshops!

I don't know the meaning of the words "idle" or "boredom".

Once people actually KNOW what homosexuals (a) do sexually, (b) their stated plans for us, (c) their pernicious rates of child molestation, (d) how they spread noxious disease, (e) the fact that homosexuals can and do change and that there are thousands of "ex-homosexuals, and (f) what they are doing in schools across the country right now, most will be opposed to "gay" rights.

hmmm... what you are talking about here is a political campaign by an action committee like swift boat vets for truth e.g. Heterosexuals for Truth.

If someone starts a nonprofit and finds a few some deep pocket contributors to get it started it would not be hard to get the ball rolling on this....

Well, it certainly would make sense for monogamous heterosexual (i.e. normal) and especially married people to pay less insurance, both health and life.

Will it happen? Or could it? I haven't been reading up on the news for two weeks, but the last I saw, radical/leftist/homosexual pushers looked as though they were frothing at the mouth in their rabid plunge into the abyss, trying to take all of what makes human civilization human along with them.

They don't want to compromise one iota, they want total domination. They will either be utterly defeated, or righteousness will be. There can be no half measures in this war. Why? Because any less than complete victory means they will keep trying to destroy all morality, all family, all independence of thought and freedom of association and religious expression.

How to raise your children to be homosexual:

1. Do not teach your kids about sex--- let the school do it.
2. Do not teach your kids to discern right from wrong; otherwise people might call them "judgmental", "homophobic", or "hateful."
3. Teach your children that every behavior is relative. In fact, truth itself is only relative. What is true and right depends on the situation, not on anything absolute.
4. Do not teach your children about God.
5. Remove all Bibles from your home, or at the least, do not let them see you reading them, because Bibles contain absolutes.
6. Dads, don't spend any one-on-one time with your son doing guy stuff. And definitely don't bond with him, hug him, or kiss him.
7. Dads, don't spend any one-on-one time with your daughter. As much as she'd like you to take her on a special date every once in a while, don't do it; you're too busy, and you might spoil her. And again, don't hug her or kiss her or tell her you think she's pretty.
8. Moms, don't nurture your kids.
9. Moms, be the boss. Scream at Dad and put him down in front of the children.
10. When you see a gay couple on TV or out in public, just ignore them. Whatever you do, don't identify them as homosexual; after all, they are no different from the rest of us.
11. Speak out for same-sex marriage.
12. Portray gay couples and activists as being "misunderstood" and brave "victims of hate speech."
13. Do not shield your children from known sex predators.
14.

Can anyone think of some more? Or does anyone see a better way to word one of mine? Post them here, OK?

Yes, instant gratification and selfish needs. Marriage is about loving, NOT about being loved. If more people realized that, they might be more inclined not to pursue selfish actions.

Family is the foundation for society. Crack it, or break it down, society crumbles. Marriage is about loving, all members of your family. Putting the love of them and their needs, above your own. If all members of the family do just that, nothing can come between them.

You were right in that donations to organizations that are trying to help us, are extremely important. Donate where the problems are......... "on the front lines" so to speak. If you stop it there, you stop it all over the country!

Homosexuals raise hundreds of thousands in MA, while Article 8 struggles to raise 50,000. There is one of the BIG problems. Because what happens in MA, happens all over the country eventually.

Loving criticism for you JL........Stop calling her your spousal unit!! LOL That is generic, and it's what they on the homosexual side want us to do. Here in MA, the generic marriage licenses have partner a and partner b, already. Proudly call her your wife!!

Uplift traditional morals and traditional marriage at every opportunity!!! Verbally, and in action. Do not use generic terms or PC when describing either of those values!

Call homosexuality what it is, do not use PC terms for that either!! Do no call any contract between people of the same sex, or proposed ones, marriage! It denigrates marriage to do so.

In everything you do, elevate marriage to loving, not to selfishness. If your state has a generic marriage license, and you know people planning to marry, suggest they do so in a neighboring state that allows for bride and groom, husband and wife.

If someone speaks to you about pro homosexual things, and you don't feel comfortable disagreeing, laugh warmly and walk away. Make them feel ridiculous.

I haven't read much on those threads, got better things to do. As far as I am concerned, if a journalist (or anyone else) is homosexual, if they keep it to themselves and also dislike the vociferous "gay" agenda, they're ok by me!

But since precious few homosexuals are like that....Tammy Bruce being one. Although not about the keeping her sex life to herself. At least she sees much of the "gay" agenda for what it is - dangerous and sick.

The gannon guy sounds like a sick puppy. Anyone involved in "gay" porn is mentally ill and should be avoided by any sane people.

Excellent comments, all around. Agree about the "spousal unit" - I don't know what got into me!

Marriage is about responsibility, loyalty, unconditional love, BEING the right person. Qualities like fidelity, strength, conviction, honesty, loyalty - and putting others first - are absolutely essential not only for marriage and family, but for human society to be human.

The "gay" agenda is part of the whole destructive philosophy of "me-ism". Whatever *I* want is important, whatever makes *ME* feel good is more important than anything else, everyone else comes second or third - this is the foundation of destruction. It's animal life.

When moral absolutes are destroyed, not only will homosexuality be promoted, but even worse behaviors. Now killing the disabled as well. If it doesn't turn around, we have a very, very rocky round ahead of us.

Good points. Also, to help encourage them to grow up "gay", don't monitor any books they may read, there are plenty in bookstores, given out at school, and in the library that are nothing more than "gay" porn and promotion.

Also, let them roam freely on the Internet - chances are they'll be reading and viewing pornography so graphic you'd be shocked. There's tons of "gay" porn available at the click of the mouse. Once their minds are immersed in porn, especially the really perverted stuff, they'll have crossed the line. And how about "gay" chat rooms? They'll be chatting with older homosexuals ready to initiate them into the "gay" life in no time.

Also, let them watch whatever they want on TV and movies - Hollywood is just percolating with pro-"gay" themed movies, shows and so-called news. Anyone, especially impressionable young people, who soak up the indoctrination the media shovels out, will be properly conditioned to believe "gay" is good, and maybe be tempted to experiment with same sex acts themselves pretty soon.

One more - let them dress any way they want, the sluttier the better. Holes, strange piercings, hideously chopped and dyed hair, mysterious symbols, and the like so they can get into the "alienated" and rebellious youth mode as soon as possible. Let them hang out with any kids, even if you don't know their families or background. That way your kids can be influenced to experiment and try any weird crap more easily.

And finally, if your kid tells you "I think I'm gay" - just smile and nod. Make sure you don't tell them the truth - that no one is born homosexual and that there are tens of thousands of former homosexuals. Make sure you don't tell them the truth about the misery, disease, shorter life span, and loneliness of the "gay" life.

not sure if gannon/guckert did gay porn, maybe he settled for being a gay escort. but, if you did a freerepublic search on his names, watch freepers leap to his defense.

Great - that was one of my ideas!

If I lived near any population center, I could put into practice ideas like that. But I live waaay out in the boondocks, I'd have to drive more than an hour and a half to get to a town of more than 20K.

I also think fliers with the phone numbers of organizations that help people overcome homosexuality would be great to post in "gay" areas - I can just imagine some poor miserable souls secretly copying the numbers and calling in the privacy of their own homes.

I feel this combination of anger and pity, I don't hate homosexuals at all. I can hate what they do - especially their aggressive takeoever of what's left of the culture - but I am very, very sorry for them.

You should keep a folder in your car somewhere that has fliers in it so that when you DO go to town for any reason, you'll have them with you to spread around. I've left some of mine in restrooms, but since I'm female, none of them have made it into men's rooms! But I have left some on buses, and I plan to plant some in a bookstore--- in the gay/lesbian section, perhaps neatly tucked away inside a book or two. Coffee shops like Starbucks is a good spot to leave them, too.

My favorite one basically says that homosexuality isn't natural or healthy and that Americans should return to their senses and speak out against it instead of condoning it by remaining silent--for the sake of our society. It's short and sweet and colorful!

Also, I love Exodus International's logo (of sorts) which simply says "QUESTION HOMOSEXUALITY."

All good ideas, as long as no ordinances are in place in your town, saying you can't. I saw a bumper sticker that had the signs for male and female over top each other, as same sex type thing, and over it said "It's not nice to fool mother nature" It made me chuckle. Not an easy thing where this issue is concerned! But it was to the point.
