Bush was not assigned to their unit. That's why they didn't see him. Bush was given time off by the Texas Guard and told he could drill in Alabama if he wanted to earn some points, which he did a few times. So what, he made up the time when he returned to Texas.
Betcha if you dig, you'll find these guys are pilot union activists.

I never saw hide nor hair of Mr. Bush, confirms Bishop, who now lives in Goldsboro, N.C., is a veteran of Gulf War I and, as a Kalitta pilot, has himself flown frequent supply missions into Iraq and to military facilities at Kuwait. NC connection ping. This ol' boy lives down in Goldsboro.

But, says Mintz, that somebody -- better known to the world now as the president of the United States -- never showed up at Dannelly in 1972. Nor in 1973We already know the the above statement is false.

Q In your words, what do the dental records show or prove? MR. McCLELLAN: Well, there were some that raised the question about his service during his time in Alabama. And this document further demonstrates the President fulfilling his duties and serving while in Alabama. I suppose some might now try to suggest that, well, this is only his teeth, this doesn't show that he was there. (Laughter.)
Q If you guys are so interested in putting out all the explanations you could possibly give to say, you know, he was there, he fulfilled his duties, why won't you talk about why he didn't show up for his physical, which is a question that persists still?
MR. McCLELLAN: No, I don't think it is; we answered that question four years ago. The reason -- well, he was on -- first of all, you're saying he didn't show up. He was on -- he moved to Alabama for a civilian job and he was on non-flying status while in Alabama. There was no need for a flight exam.

But nobody I can think of remembers him. I talked to one of my buddies the other day and asked if he could remember Bush at drill at any time, and he said, Naw, ol George wasnt there.

I was attacked here the other day but any reasonable person has to concede there is a lot of detail here. It can't be swept under the rug. Time to get out the truth serum. And I'm being serious. I once got a refund from a car dealer because I overcharged. I said the salesman lied to me and I said I would be willing to take a lie detector and the dealer caved in. The truth will win out in the end.
Now we have Kerry who will inevitably have to address the intern story (or maybe not). Let's see how credible he is. What we (I should think) is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

Naw, let the White House put the documents out.
The Dems put this out because they wanted a "garbage" issue while they're plotting more devious things.
It looks like they underestimated the Jane and John connection OR wanted to make sure John was damaged enough so he would not be able to bump Hillary in 2008.

I had to deal with this from a co-worker today, so I asked him the following:
"Quick, name all your professors from your freshman year in college."
When he couldn't do it, I told him that if that was the case, then I doubted he went to college at all. He got the message.

I saw Kerry kiss his intern. I was in DC at the time and distinctly remember it. I also saw him tongue kissing Jane Fonda just after she got back from Vietnam. Really. BTW, I hate DemonRats, especially hippy scum antiwar protestors who spit on our troops. Want to book me for CNN tonight?

Bush just needs to come out and say, "look folks, we went through this during the 2000 election, you all can wallow in hearsay and believe what you want, but I served, I'm honored to have served, and if you don't like the way I served, that's your problem. The NG is a needed and honorable way to serve and I'd encourage anyone who wants to serve there to do so with honor and don't let anyone besmirch you for choosing the NG. Let that be my final statement on the matter, now if you don't mind, I have some serious work to attend to... and if you have any further questions, just refer you to todays comment..."

The Memphis Flyer is NOT a newspaper but a rather liberal entertainment weekly.
