PLEASE WRITE TO AMBASSADOR TONY GARZA IN REFERENCE TO THIS. HERE IS FRAGMENTS OF MY E MAIL TO HIM AND TO THE CONSULATE IN GUADALAJARA.

consuladousa@megared.net.mx, ccs@usembassy.net.mx

Dear Ambassador Tony Garza:

After I read below information, I would like to know what have you done about it ? Have you complained to president Fox?

Per Mexican own rules, the dishonor of national symbols can have a jail sentence of 36 hours and fines. Should be the same when is about a foreign country national anthem no?

See chapter VII article 56 and chapter V article 39 at

http://www.cem.itesm.mx/derecho/legislacion/leyes/leyinfo/223/39.htm

Per Mexican law again, to play the national anthem of another country should have express authorization of the Diplomatics in reference as well as the Secretary of the Government. So, someone. should apologize. I'm not asking those 50,000 fans yesterday in Guadalajara, I'm asking from the Mexican government.

Embarasing gringos is not offensive behavior in mexico.

They have commercials where some Mexican Singer embarasses a "gringo" with his machoness to get the girl (and the product).

The mexican governmetn could give a BS appology but IN mexico nobody cares because acting like animals in the name of making fun of Americans is fun to them.

I live in San Diego and the same thing happens here during soccer games between the US and Mexico. The same pendejos that boo the American national anthem at these games can be found down at the Home Depot waiting for some middle class American to hire them as a day laborer. If it wasn't so culturally insensitive, the INS/Border Patrol could fill up every cell they have in two hours by raiding the local HD parking lots. And I thought after 9/11 the border would be tightened up. Silly me.

This is outrageous.

I've been told that even at athletic events during the Soviet times the Russians did not boo the our anthem.

Mexico is noted for its motherhood. There are a bunch of them that work in the Boystown section of Ciudad Acuna across from Del Rio, Texas and are representative of the ethics, morality and sensibilities of the Mexicans. They were probably the mothers of the ones that chanted Osama, Osama and of the Mexican athletes at the soccer game.

Are you speaking of the great murals in Chicano Park? That's some real high brow art, eh? A few years ago, a "hate group" vandalized those eyesores and painted some anti-Mexican grafitti on them. To add insult to injury, this "artwork" was paid for by San Diego taxpayers. "Artist" Mario Torero and his band of shakedown scammers have bamboozled even more money from the public to repaint those pieces of crap. By the way, "Varrio, si, Yonke, No" loosely translates to "The neighborhood yes, Junk, no" At least you know not to exit the freeway there if you don't want to be assaulted by the homeboys that live in Barrio Logan.

For a few laughs check out this site:

LOL!

"Treasonous wish" indeed.

California is ours, no contest, but I'm not so idiotic not to understand what the core reasons are for the resentment for all things Estadounidenses by Mexicans.

Tell me, had the situation been reversed, and Mexico had taken nearly one third of the US land by force from us, how would you feel about them?

Hell, we took THEIR land and you hate them!

There are just too many other diversions here in LA LA land. This is probably why LA doesn't have an NFL team. I'd certainly never go. When the weather is all perfect all the time, who wants to waste 4 or 5 hours sitting in the stands. USC is often nationally ranked and they have a hard time selling out.

If we hadn't taken their land first, the rest of Mexico would have remained French or some other European Nationality. The Gadsden was a purchase and Texas took what was rightly theirs, even the Mexicans that lived in Texas fought for independence. The Mexicans lost the Northern lands out of stupidity and greed. Mexico is lucky it isn't speaking German as their second language resulting from their ignorance and stupidity.

The only reason we are in this mess with immigration is because we are not enforcing our own laws and the democrats are trying their best to wrestle power any way they can and the Mexicans, always willing to be pawns, are the easiest way.

Bush protecting the homeland?

How many murders do you think have been committed by illegal aliens over the past 3 years? Do you think the number is greater than, or less than the amount of casualties in 9/11?

Is Bush really strong on National Defense?

Perfect? High's in the 60's for the last two months, and lows in the lower 40's at night, and wundy as heck.

In May and June the entire basin is shrouded in fog from 5am to 3pm daily. (Surely you know about "June Gloom"?)

You can see the sun 30 days out of the year when the smog is blown out by the Santa Ana's.

Weather in LA isn't horrible like Chicago, but it isn't even close to perfect.

Our perfect weather is one of those TV myths.

No, it's theirs. They took it. Trust me on this one.

When the bus drivers no longer speak English, and you see more Mexican flags than American Flags, and you have to press a button for LA's second language (English) when calling a service agancy ... it isn't ours anymore.

Maybe on the map it's ours, but Mexico owns it.

There are a number of countries in Europe that have lost significant territory to neighbors, some rather recently, yet they don't seem to share the animosity that Mexico has toward the USA. Why? Because those countries are more or less co-equals. Mexico, one the other hand, is its neighbor's equal in precious little. It's problem isn't a territorial grudge, it's an inferiority complex.

Yeah, mid-70's. Pretty nice. I've been in Chicago on nice days. Milwaukee too.

June gloom is pretty nast stuff. Is the weather really perfect here year-round? I don't think so, but it's nor horrible.

I'm glad you're so happy.

Also, your 30 day figure is ridiculous.

Sure it was. It was an obvious exaggeration. But are you claiming that we don't have lots and lots of unclear days where the sky is some color of off-brown because of the smog? Go up on Mulholland on any summer day when the temperature is over 80 and look out out over the basin. You will notice a definite line where the blue sky meets the brown gunk in the air. You can't miss it.

May-early July is fog until mid-afternoon.

It's not that clear here that often.

Them are fightin' words sir. I flatulate in your general direction ;-)

I live in Central LA. About 10 miles inland. And Malibu is cold as *$&^ and foggy 9 months out of the year, so I ain't that enamored. The water is cold year round, the wind blows 24/7, and the only time it's warm is when there is an onshore flow. (or maybe i'm just jealous that I can't afford to live there).

Nope--it won't do. Steely Dan sez so.

Oleanders growing outside her door
Soon they're gonna be in bloom
Up in Annandale
I can't stand her
Doing what she did before
Living like a gypsy queen
In a fairy tale
Well I hear the whistle but I can't go
I'm gonna take her down to Mexico
She said oh no
Guadalajara won't do

CHORUS

California tumbles into the sea
That'll be the day I go
Back to Annandale
Tried to warn you
About Chino and Daddy Gee
But I can't seem to get to you
Through the U.S. Mail
Well I hear the whistle but I can't go
I'm gonna take her down to Mexico
She said oh no
Guadalajara won't do
