Oh, yeah, I miss Dobie Gillis, Nick at Night used to air it about 15-20 years ago.

From my youth I can barely remenber the shows, mostly Dobie's monologues with the 'Thinker' statue in the background, just some guy talking.

Later I remember from the re-runs the plot issues like Dobie/Zelda, Dobie working at the store, the snobbish Chatsworth Osbourne, Jr. and of course MGK and WORK.

They don't make them like that anymore, since the sixties.

I was about 7 when Dobie was on TV. I don't remember a whole lot about the show either...just Maynard and work. I feel kinda the same way about it. :)
