Turnipseed. Where did he ever get a name like that? This is the best part of this whole "scandal."

I think that someone said that Turnipspeed is a FR lurker and that he is really upset with how the media used his words out of context.

The name "Turnipseed" is a little unusual, but I've known many people who have that last name, most of them fine folks.

This is the best part of this whole "scandal."

I like the way the various news readers stumble and try to find creative ways to pronounce it. They don't seem to want to believe it's the way it looks. ;-)

Back at the Blue Zoo, in the summer of '72 or '73, I met a kid named "Turnipseed" ... certainly a memorable name ... I'm guessing now he was probably the son of then-Col Turnipseed.
