As to Buffy being a slut — ALL the women are sluts, and the men clintons, in the Buffyverse.

How is Buffy a slut? In 7 years on the show, the character had sex with 4 men- Angel, that guy from early 4th season, Riley, and Spike. Sorry to enlighten you on this, but in the non-conservative Christian community, four men during the years of say 16-23 is probably pretty standard, maybe on the low side.

So, you're saying a lot of women are sluts. That's either a slander, or true. I don't know which.

I can't think my point is that opaque. It's difficult not to conclude that what I'm saying must be pressing uncomfortably on some folks' personal issues. Sex outside of marriage is immoral. Nobody in the Buffyverse says no to sex on principle, even (the one exception being Xander, once, as I noted).

You think it's a fine moral example for Buffy to have sex with Angel, Parker (= the name you were trying to think of), Riley and Spike. If so, odd screen name you've got; but that's your affair. It's slutty behavior. (It also WAS NOT my point.)

Are there worse sluts? Yep. So? Here's a guy who killed one person; here's another guy who killed forty-seven. Know what, though? They're both murderers. Murder is murder, and sleeping around outside of marriage is slutty (for a female), or clintony (for a male).

All of this is still far afield from my original point. Say, I have an idea. What if you went back and read it, and see if maybe you'd like to, I don't know... maybe interact with my actual point?

FOR THOSE KEEPING SCORE AT HOME: the next diversion, according to the standard playbook, should be to reveal to me the shocking insight that Buffy is just a TV show.

Dude - towards the end [especially post-resurrection], Buffy was experiencing suicidal regret over her pathological addiction to nymphomania [and it wasn't a particularly nymph-ish strain of nymphomania].
