President Bush made his way to Daytona International Speeway today, where he was honored with starting the race. Air Force One touched down on a near-by airstrip after doing a fly-by for the thousands of NASCAR fans in attendance. The President's motorcade then made a trip around the oval before heading to Pit Row, where the President greeted many of the drivers. Bush also took time to greet some fans in the stands. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Of course you still need prayers, Mama. And you're getting them. It hurts like hell, doesn't it?
Love, kitkat

These are GREAT!

I LOVE the ones that say NATIONAL GUARD on them!

Reminds me of when he walked across the WH lawn with the book BIAS in his hand! :o)

I'm so grateful the President had a fun day today. His life is all too filled with stress and ugliness on the part of the Democrats.

Looked like he had a ball there today!

From what I've read, he received a thunderous ovation and greeting. Of course, the DUers said they hear boos. ;)

The pictures of the airplane was sorta eerie to say the least, reminded me of terrorist's planes. I bet it did alot of the fans too unless it was previously announced.

Prayers are being sent your way, MamaB. Take comfort in knowing your angel is smiling down on you to help relieve your pain. Maybe Jan is helping you find those angels...

I went to choir practice Wednesday night and on the way home I really lost it. It hit me like a ton of bricks that Jan would never go with me to the church she had attended since she was 5 years old. I had to drive very slowly the rest of the way home because I could not see how to drive. Both Lynn and I have been having dreams of Jan and like she said they were happy ones. I kept dreaming about her last night and she kept telling me to check on the weather. So I finally turned on the tv and everything was fine. I do not know what the dream was about! One night I dreamed the rest of the family and I were on a large bridge overlooking a big meadow. Jan was in it with lots of toddlers. I remember yelling at her to see if she were ok and she yelled back, "I'm fine". Just wierd dreams with no meaning. I need to call one of my nieces who lives in TN. She and Jan kept in touch every week but I have not talked with her since Jan died. I just can not talk on the phone without crying. I joined a support group on Yahoo. One of my cousins in MS sent me a box of 11 books. One was "Chicken Soup for the Grieving Soul" and it really helped.

We're praying for you MamaB! The pain must be unbearable.

I remember how my mom suffered when my younger sister died (at the age of 22). Deep, heartfelt prayers for you.......
