Interesting that there is no history of the vessel's number in any of the engagement descriptions on the page you cited.

Thanks. I searched that page just to make sure, using control + f "find" and I got no hits for Kerry. Weird.

But as you say it must be a clerical error, since the rest of his crew (from the photos) are listed in the PCF 94 boat.

BTW, wouldn't you have thought, especially since Kerry was such a hero, that one of his fellow crew members would have corrected the list--especially since they keep it updated with email addresses and such?

Isn't it interesting that the U.S. Navy can make clerical errors as to the unit assignments of its officer corps with full-time personnel assigned maintain such records, but the Texas and Alabama National Guard are expected to have perfect personnel records with part-time personnel.

But Kerry claims he was on baoard at the same time, in a different base:

Remember, only ONE officer was ever assigned on ONE Swift boat at a time 9Here, Kerry and Hoole overlapped), and BOTH were named Officer-in-Charge!

Further, Kerry was still training in October 67 back in Mare island, CA - north of San Francisco in the Napa Valley....

and he (Kerry) was home before the end of March 68 at an admiral's position in Boston!
