"It always galled me when Clinton took credit for creating all those jobs during the 1990's at his State of the Union addresses."

I think this is one of things I despised most about Clinton. Unlike his Republican counterparts who gave credit to both the people...and the congress, for working together to accomplish things, Clinton always took credit for everything. I don't think I've ever heard anybody use the word "I" as much as this self-centered man.

He must have touched Hillary quite a lot when he was younger.

This is the slogan of all the demonRATS, especially Hitlery Clintoon. Makes me sick to hear it. The recession slide occurred under Clintoon's watch when he started to run out of countries to bomb (remember he ordered bombing an average of one country for every year he was in office--7 of 8. The only reason he didn't bomb any country was that year was an election year. These bombings also coincided with one of sexual exploits breaking out in the press.)

Now we just want to party like it's 1999 again.

Some of us would only be able to party if it's 1969 again.

hehehe...

George W. Bush and Bill Clinton somehow ended up at the same barbershop. As they sat there each being worked on by different barbers, not a word was spoken. The barbers were both afraid to start a conversation, for fear it would turn to politics. As the barbers finished their shaves, the one who had Clinton in his chair reached for the aftershave.
Clinton was quick to stop him saying, "No thanks, my wife Hillary will smell that and think I've been in a whorehouse."
The 2nd barber turned to Bush and said, "How about you?".
Bush replied, "Go ahead, my wife doesn't know what the inside of a whorehouse smells like."

Yeah, the homeless magically disappeared during the Clinton years, and the elite media magically brought them back on Inauguration Day 2001.

According to the Economic Report of the President submitted to Congress this past February, Gross Domestic Product (GDP) began rising annually at a steady 4% clip after the Republicans defeated Clinton's health-care initiative; took over Congress in 1994; and passed tax cuts and welfare reform. Prior to that, GDP growth stagnated far below the 4%-plus-rate the economy has averaged from 1996 to 1999.

It was Reagan's legacy that handed Clinton the essential foundation for booming growth. Reagan's supply-side tax cuts reduced top marginal tax rates from 70% to 28%. Siewert also apparently forgot that Reagan's tax cuts ushered in 92 straight months of economic growth (from November 1982 to July 1990) without a recession.

Clinton has thrown a few bombs since he left office.

Gray Davis and Wes Clark come to mind...

When words have no meaning, you are probably talking to a Democrat.

The technology bubble of the 90's was going to happen regardless of who was President.

An interesting take on the bubble is that it was significantly manipulated in Enron-like falsified accounting.

CitiBank was a major contributor to this inflated valuation.

And Clinton's Rubin was heading CitiBank.

Coincidence?
