Officials at the New York based Union of Needletrades, Industrial, and Textile Employees Unite said they faced 'a vicious anti union campaign' last autumn' when they tried to unionize the Los Angeles plant of American Apparel, manufacturer of the Marc Jacobs/Hillary Clinton T-shirts.
Unite spokesperson on Hillary Clinton, 'She should use a company that respects workers rights to organize.'
They complained that American Apparel was 'dining out on a reputation for social conciousness that was ill deserved.'
American Apparel had just settled a union busting complaint last week Unite has made to the National Labor Relations Board.
American Apparel senior partner Dov Charney said the unions allegiations are 'ludicrious' and that their complaint was a 'sham' driven by self interest.

Welcome to FR.
Everyone in NY state with half a brain knows that the Hill'ry is, was, and always will be wrapped up in corruption.
Pretty much a given.
Whether or not she is ever called to account for it is another thing entirely.
It'd be nice, but not likely.

Hitlery has never been remotely associated with anything that has to do with respect. We all know that.
BTW, when is she and Booba going to jail?
To: chucknun
I'm surprised Hitlery's gendarme Harold Ickes, who has both websites
http://www.friendsofhillary.com and
http://www.friendsofhillary.net has associated himself as a shill for ANYTHING illegal! Say it ain't so! Wasn't he going to run for office too? They are collecting money not for the party but for her re-election in 06. I predict the shirts to be a dismal failure...HAHAHAHA.

You should see her without makeup.

I own a screenprinting and embroidery company and I have met Dov Charney (CEO of American Apparel) several times at trade shows. The most ridiculous part of this deal is that Dov Charney is an absolute socialist. He runs his company like a commune. They've got free daycare, healthcare, language instruction, yoga, masseuse, you name it. He preaches social justice and the gospel of Marx. He is a flaming commie and proud of it. He is vocal about his politics and his whole operation is openly activist. To be fair and honest I have to admit that despite his pinko philosophy he runs a tight ship and his company is makes a good product that is gaining big market-share in the made-in-the-usa niche. Charney is no hypocrite. His operation is a socialist utopia. The union's attack on him just goes to show that they are all about Union bureaucracy and not about the workers.

But does Dov buy free trade coffee for his employees? (lol)
I am shocked that Shrillary's frocks are being made by a socialist--who would have thunk it?

Hillary's people probably didn't know they were getting a socialist's product. They probably just shopped on price (not a good idea if your a Rat politician.) Every Rat staffer should know that you buy the union product regardless of inferior quality, higher price, or longer production times.
