I'm confused. Did you see post #79?

Goodness, Google has hundreds of sources.
Very quickly I have just been skimming
http://www.ot-studies.com/Documents/did_moses_marry_a_cushite.htm Looks like that quickly gives the story, I had forgotten her name, Tharbis, but it is beginning to come back to me. Moses had been a great general of Egypt in his 30's or so and the Exodus did not take place till he was in his eighties.

The simple difference between being gay and being a minority is that being a minority is NORMAL.
We can still be friends with, and happily live nearby, and hire the abnormal, but that doesn't make them normal.

Gays aren't barred from marrying; they have the same legal right as anyone else to marry whom they choose. The problem they face is they want to call a peversion "marraige". It's bad enough that we even have to know of their existence - Remember when they pleaded that they just want to be left alone? I fell for it. Much more of this shoving their sickness down our throats and their peversion will once again be illegal. Don't compare it to interracial marriage - that is offensive.

I suspect that this issue will end up hurting the Democrats in a way that they'd never consider Does anybody actually take anything that the Democrats say seriously, anyway? This entire primary cycle has been nothing but a contest of, "Can you top this?". And there's been no responsible adult involved, except maybe Joe L.
I'd like to believe that this is the issue that finally drives people away from the Democrats, but there have been so many good reasons before that just haven't done it. Hope you're right about this.

Thanks for the source, Chris Talk. As you know, Josephus is a secondary source, not a primary one, and he would have had to find this in Midrash. I will start looking for the midrashic text of this. If you find it before me, please let me know. ;)

I searched specifically for a thread like this one. My husband and I are also "interracially married", and we too are insulted by the comparison. I'm glad to see that most Freepers recognize the difference.
I saw the S.F. mayor on Larry King the other night. When Musgrave asked him if legalized polygamy will be next, he dismissed her argument as a "red herring". Yet, he and others consistently compare gay marriage to interracial marriage, and the mainstream media seems to accept that comparison.
I can think of only one other group besides white liberals that equates gay couples with interracial couples, and that's the white supremecists - they see us in the same light as white liberals do. Quite revealing, imho.
Thanks for posting your comments.

It’s ridiculous to compare them because race is nebulous. Is an italian and a German race mixing? Indian and Polish? Egyptian and Zulu?
It’s pretty much settled that other than an extreme minority, sex is binary.
