I think there are some confused Vets, who are angry about the pension pay vrs. disability pay issues, but I don't know that they were ever Republicans in the first place.

This issue was misrepresented (read lied about ) in the National News Media and frankly by some major Vet's organizations who now feel the need to become hand out recipients rather than true Veterans' Organizations. Any vet voting for Kerry is fool at best.

I don't really know the ins and outs of that issue. I personally wish we could make life comfy for all Vets, I think they deserve it. However I know that isn't realistic, and I understand your point.

Of course you know more about it than I do. I am not a Veteran. I only mention it because it is the only thing that makes sense to me re: their support of Kerry.

The Democrats always represent organizations which are full of "hand out" recipients.

That , IMO, is exactly what makes them the socialists they are. They get their power through the continued victimization of, and pity parties for large groups of people. I used to be a social worker.. I know this well.

Keeping people from excelling is their main concern. So I agree anyone voting for Kerry is a fool, and any Republican voting for Kerry was never a Republican at heart in the first place.

Any Conservative voting for Kerry is a self defeating fool.

Further, a real Conservative is not going to compare Bush to Hitler, or call him a leftist.

People who say those kinds of things were never Republicans, Conservatives or Bush supporters.. there is no loss there.

Some of the others will come back.. you will see.

My main point is that we should make it easy for them to walk back through the doors.

This "Evil" regime in the span of twenty-five years has totally destroyed the socio-economic fabric of the country and has taken it to the abyss. In a nation rich with abundance of petroleum and natural gas: 57% of the population lives under the line of poverty; inflation is at 20%, unemployment at 30%, and per capita income 30% less than 1977.

Thus, you are left with a country that is now rich with an abundance of "martyrs," just as in nearly all of the other Islamic countries. While the self appointed leaders of these countries stuff their fat bearded faces with falafels, the majority of the poeple wallow in poverty, and these "leaders" blame their suffering on the western infidel and say it is "Allah's will." What can you expect of a religion whose members pray to their god by pointing their backsides at him?

further "F"ing proof that Kerry is collaborating with an enemy that is killing U. S servicemen and women engaged in battle today. the Iranian mullahs are supporting Al Queda and OB. Is allowing terrorist to enter Iraq from their commen border and Kerry wants to reestablish relations with this outlaw regime while saying with his band of brothers
"I will never allow our military men to be held hostage over foreign Oil". Who did the Iranians hold hostage during the 70's but U. S. servicemen and our embassy staff. What a loser. Go GW

Bush losing favor among Illinois voters
By Rick Pearson

Illinois voters have grown so disenchanted with President Bush that he would lose the state to either of the top two contenders for the Democratic presidential nomination if the election were held today, a new Tribune/WGN-TV poll shows.

I don't generally like the Chicago Tribune, and I don't agree about the WMD thing. I do hope President Bush will hear the outrage over the Amnesty issue and fix that up.

The other issues I have with him, not being as Conservatives as I would like, I can chalk up to politics and doing what is needed to get reelected.

I really believe anyone talking about lack of WMD is missing some of the finer points here.

If people are are misinformed enough to think Sadam didn't have WMD and plans to use them on us- and that President Bush risked troops lives for his own greed and need for oil, there not much chance of having a rational discussion with them.

Exactly! That seems to be what this campaign by the Dems is all about! the hell with what is best for our country. They act as though we are not at war! It scares me that people might vote for Kerry, because they don't want to face the facts that are out there. Like ignore the terrorists and they will go away, or maybe we can send 'hero kerry' over for some 'peace talks' these Iranian's deserve our support. I have a freind who fled Iraq 8 years ago. she says her mothers greatest fear right now is not the turmoil, but the idea that GWB won't be re-elected, that speaks volumes!

Well that is about half of the voting public, sorry to say!
