I agree,Garry Trudeau is an assbump. BTW, the delusional MurryMom has returned. Anyone hear Ed Assner of the Hannity program today? It was a howl to say the least.

BTTT Thanks Bob. I am so sick and tired of "cartoons" in the newspaper that are nothing more than attacks on conservatives. I loathe Mr. "Doonsbury" Trudeaux and wish him well - ALL the way back to CANADA. I wonder if he even realizes how sleezy and cheap his character is?

That's been covered here. The citations for his medals were posted on one thread and a very enlightening statement by Admiral Zumwalt, Kerry's CO in RVN, concerning Kery's actions there was posted in another thread.
You'll have to do the search yourself though. I'm feeling lazy today.

Those pictures coming on the screen right after John Kerry uttering those words would devastate his campaign. It would make a helluva ad. If moveon can make ads, why can't we?

Garry Trudeaus Doonesbury tells us... This is the most attention Doonesbury has had in about 25 years, which is about the last time it was funny. No one pays any attention to the strip, and if newspapers stopped running it, no one would notice.
Newspapers still run it so that the ideology can be crammed down our throats. Same reason Whoopi Goldberg still gets gigs. Hasn't been funny in a long time, but still foisted upon us for her political symbolism.

In early 1975, North Vietnam launched a massive invasion of South Vietnam. Saigon fell on April 30. The victorious communist regimes, which did in fact commit atrocities and mass murder as a matter of policy, celebrated with a killing spree throughout Southeast Asia. Over the next several years, an estimated two million Cambodians were slaughtered, as were tens of thousands of South Vietnamese. One million South Vietnamese were imprisoned in re-education camps, and two million more fled the country. My understanding is that the Cambodians were slaughtered by the Khmer Rouge - ala the "killing fields". Would this not have happened regardless of the outcome in South VN?
What do you think was the actual cost borne by the South Vietnamese - in terms of human life, for our "failure" in Viet Nam?
