Funny. When he was hit by lightening he said he looked up in the sky and said "You didn't like that take, eh?"

Rush's has been great today talking about The Passion. Good show.

I was previously unsure whether to see this movie, but I have made up my mind I'm taking my wife to see it tomorrow night.

Looked up and said, "you didn't like that take did you!"

I got email from a liberal group I subscribe telling people to pay for a ticket to ANOTHER MOVIE if they want to see the Passion so Gibson doesn't make any money.
All theaters should be informed what they are up to.
To: BSunday
Thanks. I had turned the radio off, but just turned it back on.

Definitely go. When we were walking out of the theater last night after seeing it, it was amazing how nobody was talking as we were walking out. The movie was phenomenal; even my 11 year old loved it.

Forward the email to the movie site. In the meantime, I've noticed that event the multiplexex check tickets at the entrance to blockbuster "R" rated movies to make sure kids aren't sneaking in with tickets to other movies.

Rush said that Mel told him he might never work again. I guess if he has a contract for 5% of the profits he won't have to work again.

I had no idea he had actually (albeit accidentally) been whipped twice in shooting the scene. He says it took the wind out of him and was worse than the worst hit he ever took playing football in school. I can't even imagine. He'll probably wear that 14" scar the rest of his life.

But, he would not do such a role again.

I didn't hear most of the interview on Rush, so missed that question and answer on this particular program, but I'm pretty sure you are mistaken. I've seen him in other interviews.

On the other hand, I heard Glenn Beck say that even if you don't think you could stomach the violence, you should go buy a ticket and just not go to the movie in order to support Mel Gibson and make a statement.

I got email from a liberal group I subscribe telling people to pay for a ticket to ANOTHER MOVIE if they want to see the Passion so Gibson doesn't make any money. Weird strategy. The film's going to make money, no question, and I doubt this tactic will have a substantial financial impact. God is working in mysterious ways; most important here is that they see the truth onscreen.
To: BSunday
As a female, I'll never be asked to play the role. But if I were male, I couldn't do it - not even in the church play. In fact, I wouldn't even have let my son (as a baby) play the baby Jesus in a Christmas scene.
I don't condemn those who do (and have two friends who have played the part in various productions), but I wouldn't do it.
To: Soundman4x4
I got email from a liberal group I subscribe telling people to pay for a ticket to ANOTHER MOVIE if they want to see the Passion so Gibson doesn't make any money Liberals sure are stupid. The theatre will sell you a ticket until all seats are full. If a liberal doesn't buy a ticket to "The Passion" somebody else will. How does buying a ticket for another movie affect sales of "The Passion"?
