If Bush picks this homophilic, anti-gun, Clinton-Florio-Cuomo suck up as his running amte, he's signed his political death warrent.

I'm sure he's not that stupid.

"I just want to see Bush reelected."

Yea, me too...

"If it helps Bush's chances having someone else on the ticket then so be it. Maybe JC Watts would be better than Guiliani. If by naming a new Veep increases Bushes chances in November then it is a good thing."

Maintaining stability is even better, imho...Cheney's been a very positive influence so far, let's go with him fer another four years!!

"The election is too close to take chances on. Bush can name Cheney to a cabinet post or something. It seems like it is a win win."

I've yet to see any evidence whatsoever that Cheney's a drag on the ticket...make that available afore we go too far in squashin' a successful team!! Cheney's an important conservative cog in the Dubyuh wheel from what I can gather!!

"I still will vote for Bush either way though. It is scary to think that people would choose not to vote for W over this trivial matter."

While I'd rather eat glass than to do anything to elect Hanoi John as the next Commander-in-Chief, I ain't fer sure votin' fer Dubyuh...he needs to earn this RadicalRightWinger's vote!!

FReegards...MUD

BTW..."I can't imagine a President Kerry. It will be the worst thing for the Country."

Me neither...

You don't dump a VP candidate to strengthen your political appeal

Says who? This has been done throughout American history. Hannibal Hamlin was replaced by Democrat Andrew Johnson to make sure that Lincoln appealed to pro-Union Democrats.

I don't think Condoleeza Rice wants the position. I could be wrong, but that's how it appears to me.

No sane and rational individual -- and she appears to be one -- would want the job. All the really bright people, like Rumsfeld and Rice, stay around the periphery and never directly enter into the political fray.

Julie Annie? Gimme a break. Here's the real dream running mate:

Oh well shoot, seein' that you've put one Condi on the table, I'll have to raise you another:

Seriously, the problem with Giuliani isn't abortion so much as it is guns. The minute gunowners in this country heard that Rudy was being considered for the VP slot a lot of NRA folk would start agitating. Condi doesn't have that problem.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

I like Rudy and respect him; but on most social issues I disagree strongly with his positions.
