[history]
President Bush talks about his record, and Democrats demand that he shut up.
September 11, 2001, marked the worst foreign attack on American soil since Pearl Harbor--the bloodiest ever on the American mainland. It's certainly been the defining event of George W. Bush's Presidency. But according to Democrats and their media echo chamber, it now shouldn't be a campaign issue.

Then these "young people" are too damned stupid to vote. Which, by the way, 99% of them don't bother to do.

"Good article. What's perplexing to me lately is how it has been percieved that limitations on freedom of expression (see shock-jocks, firings, Clear Channel, Janet Jackson's boob, for example) are being interpreted as the result of something coming from the Bush White House."Democrats are just as much, if not more responsible. But no one wants to see that. I haven't heard George bush say anything about that sniveling idiot Howard Stern but Stern directs his diatribes against Bush.
And let's take this a step further. Stern only belives in the rule of law and The Constitution where his concerns are met. He claims to belive in the first amendment but ignores the second amendment which for practical purposes protects the first. I guess it's a matter of whose ox is gored.
Off my soap box.
Bart.

Allow me to put it this way. If members of your country attack my country in a manner as is 9-11, we got issues to resolve. But as far as I can see, there ain't shiite happening.

don't give a rats ass about the house of saud. I care about America. What about you?. It is obvious that you can't handle more than one thought at a time and I have better debates going on. I will say this one last thing, if we had attacked Saudi Arabia instead of Afghanistan Al Quaeda would still be at full operational strength and we would be celebrating 911 version 2 about now.

there ain't shiite happening. Cute but the Saudis are predominantly Sunni, including the royals, so your word play falls a bit flat.

Now you're an expert on terrorism? TF, terrorism needs money. And where is the most money? And from where did fifteen of 9-11 terrorists come from? I'll rule out a couple. Not Iraq. Not Afghanistan.
Now that you are uptospeed, they come from the house of saud...which gave birth to OBL.

"You are both too cynical."Granted. But there is a reason for it.
To: thoughtomator
What's your theory?
To: takenoprisoner
He's far more of an " expert " than you are. You're an unthinking hothead.

Moreover, sorta reminds me of the mafia. Where the "godfather" of evil and corruption is protected by his troops and yes, sometimes by the fedgov.

Now that you are uptospeed, they come from the house of saud...which gave birth to OBL. No they didn't and OBL has all the money he needs from his own pocket. You can accuse the Saudi's of supporting Palestinian terrorists and you would be right but the Saudi Government does NOT support Bin Laden. If you are looking for an Al Quaeda sponsor the most likely suspect is Iran and to a lesser degree good old Saddam. Why Saddam? Because it was in his strategic interests that OBL overthrow the Saudi government. Your knowledge of that region is non-existent. All you know is what everyone else knows, 15 of the hijackers were Saudi nationals operating out of Afghanistan under orders from another Saudi national based in Afghanistan who was expelled from his home country and disowned by his own family.

I've had lots of time to think for myself as well as those who can't think for themselves. Hardly qualifies as a "hothead." More like someone who thinks for himself.
So is "hothead" your best argument here?

Democrats are just as much, if not more responsible.True, I can only imagine the liberal geniuses that put that half-time show together. In the minds of many, the 2nd ammendment doesn't even exist but the 1st sure does (and then there was CFR).
An infringment here, an infringment there, pretty soon your infringed. The Left would wrap us in duct tape and chains if allowed to infringe to their heart's content. The problem is: getting this message to others who may not have been paying attention during the Clinton years or were simply too young.
Gore was a bore, but Kerry is f-ing scary. There's more to lose this time around.
