Would that include Michael McCaul in US CD 10? Endorsed by the liberal Austin American-Statesman and called the "moderate" of the candidates by the liberal Austin Chronicle, although they would not endorse anyone? I think the Austin papers are endorsing McCaul because he is the only contender in any House race from Austin. I have met with McCaul several times for extended interviews. He is not a moderate or RINO. Some complain that he worked with Bush and Cornyn. While these may not be as conservative as some of us would like, they are the most conservative team available to work with.

McCaul isnt the only one from Austin. Theresa Doggett Taylor also lives here. But I dont think she is putting any money into the race like McCaul is.

Yes and no. McCaul picked up Cornyn's endorsement; Devine's webpage says he picked up the endorsement of Ron Paul. So you could say that McCaul is the more establishment conservative choice in a field with other more ideological conservative candidates.
