[Some NJ Rag]:Police have filed no charges against Freed, but said they are investigating

[harpseal]:Now lets see what charges they could file against him. Wasting water because of showering too long? Not wanting to surrender to armed invaders in his home? I was not aware of either of these being felonies.

Who said that the police were investigating Freed?

Since no other person in the sentence is mentioned one must presume the police are investigating Freed. I am sorry you do not like my sense of humor.

There you go again. We need to "grow up and get over the hysterics" after cops shoot a man in his own house.

Said like a black-clad reptile.

Maybe if the article actually quoted the police, then one would be able to make a reasonable determination who and *what* the police were investigating. They may have been investigating the entire incident.

The article doesn't quote the police -- I don't make the same assumption as you did.
