I'll never understand it. Carville and Mary Matlin. How the heck does that work? I can't grasp it on any level. She works for Cheney. Isn't that kind of like hiring Mrs. Osama Bin Laden?

From what I understand and read (I went to Korea in 1968) the black "pajamas" were more popular with the Viet Kong insurgents, while the Regular NVA Soldiers were issued military style uniforms in an assortment of colors, mostly tan or sort of an OD green - some were apparantly blue or gray.

All the pictures of "Hanoi Jane" doing her thing during the VNW seem to have her in the company of NVA Regulars, and I have never seen any of them in "black pajamas" yet.
