cocaine was a plaid thing? And the examples the author used was plaids who were "square" back in the 60's and are still moral today. He's giving Bush a pass while he rightly comdemns the hippies.

Oh, I forgot your hatred of all things Bush, and your desire to smear him with anything you can dream up.
Sorry I bothered you. Carry on.

LOL! Yeah. I made it up. What was that stock response the Bush team came up with when asked about his drug use?
"He hasn't done any drugs in the past 25 years." Face it. He snorted. Most plaids didn't do that. The author is being inconsistent.

I am not even dignifying your remarks with further discussion. No one is going to change your mind, anyway.
Have a nice day.

But, the best dirty, garage, punk and surf music was made in this 'plaid era' pre fab four. Link Wray, The Sonics, The Trashmen ... and so on.
Amen! Dick Dale, Gary U.S. Bonds, The Kingsmen, etc etc

Eric Alterman of MSNBC.com is the best example. He sneers and he lies, he hates and he whines, but he cannot actually do anything. Like most Woodstocks, he is a parasite on Plaid culture.
This also describes most of the posters at DU.

I really like the way this guy built his argument. He is a smart guy.
Whether his optimism about November is correct is another question, however. Let's hope he's right.
