A rested Kerry would have known not to brag about his popularity with unnamed foreign leaders, just as he would have avoided nominating himself Soul Brother No. 2. He needs to take some time off and get a grip.

I think this has nothing to do with Kerry being tired. I believe this is the "real" Kerry, whose arrogance is overwhelming his caution.

Similar to what happened with Dean.

The next thing we know, Kerry will pull a "John Edwards" and inform us he grew up in an isolated log cabin in the Hamptons.

His voice is shot.

Yeah, what's with that voice? Did Kerry FULLY recover from his prostate surgery last year? Why did Guiliani drop out of his Senate race due to prostate cancer yet Ketchup Boy just plowed ahead. Do we really know the state of Kerry's health?

Kerry could do the Rip Van Winkle and he'd still be a Marxist anti-American idiot when he awoke. Sleep has nothing to do with it.

I think this has nothing to do with Kerry being tired.

Still, I've seen many reports that he looks absolutely ragged-out if not ill lately. If he doesn't wear all that well, he'll have a hard time campaigning from now to November, much less being President.

His first gaffe came on Super Tuesday. Flush with victory, Kerry confided to a reporter for the American Urban Radio Network that he'd like to be known as the second black President

MSNBC just had the woman who wants Kerry to apologize for this statement. I think she's the head of her local NAACP chapter. This was terrific exposure of this Kerry gaffe. She emphatically stated (again--it's been in the papers) how Kerry doesn't know what it's like to be a poor white man, let alone black in America.

Unfortunately they had to cut it off to go to the Malvo sentencing, but it got airtime and she made her point.

This is good because we freepers know about these bizarre things Kerry's been saying, but the wider dissemination is vital to get the message out.

John Kerry needs a week off. Maybe two. His voice is shot. His temper is short. And, after running an almost flawless primary campaign, he has started making beginner's mistakes.

He just started making mistakes? I thought that's why he was so far behind Dean for so long. It wasn't until Dean imploded that the media turned to Kerry, who had been gaffe-ing along the whole time. They are just looking for somebody, ANYbody to beat George W. Bush.

Kerry is going to look as foolish as Dukakis. The libs & their false hopes in this guy are going to be deeply saddened. Especially when we get 60 in the senate.

Ah, but if a Democrat makes a gaffe, and nobody hears it because the liberal media won't report it, is it really a gaffe?
