Your goal is marijuana legalization. Your concern for the sick and dying is limited to their use to you in getting to that goal.

Like you do care? Your concern for the sick and dying is roughly equal to that of what you accuse others of. It's just strategic talking point to you. You want to keep pot and other abstractly chosen substances under the control of the government or as you might say "society".
Without bringing sick and dying people into it, and ignoring medical pot initiatives, this is a simple constitutional freedom issue.

I suppose you agree with the guy that posted the supporting information that smoked marijuana cures tetanus and uterine hemmorrhaging.
The door is wide open now for other States to press ahead with medical MJ programs. Efforts are now underway in Texas, for example.

Is it possible cannabis is both medicinally useful and gets people high? What makes you think that these two properties are mutually exclusive?
My friend, if you're going to be against something, you must have a reason. When a person is for or against something just because they are is indicative of someone who has bought a bill of goods without checking the warehouse.
