John Kerry, Traitor
SGT Grit's Marine Forum ^ | 20 January AD 2004 | J F Wear

At one point, I thought that having a Vietnam Veteran serving his / her country as the leader would be great. Well, one day I finally pulled my head out and realized that just because someone served in combat, does not qualify them to run the most powerful country in the world. Today I got a note from the daugher of one of my Vietnam Marine tanker buddies. She went on and on about how wonderful Mr Kerry is. He is a real American (unlike "Bush") because he went to Vietnam and fought for his country. He saw his buddies die in his arms. Etc, etc, etc.

Here is my response:

Stop all of this "he saw his buddies die in Vietnam"....Heck, you are talking to someone who did as much or more of that than Mr Kerry did during my time in Vietnam. However, I am sure that I did not kill any women and children, as Mr Kerry self-admittedly did. And I say again, just because someone went to war for their country in the fight to topple world wide communism, this does not qualify him to become the leader of the most powerful country in the world. So we need another Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, LBJ as a leader? Fine examples of leadership there, huh? They lead by following.

Kerry is NOT a good person. He is a career politician. He is a traitor in the same light as Hanoi Jane Fonda. His protests bolstered the North Vietnamese's resolve to keep fighting and killing American men when they were ready to capitulate in 1968....when your dad and I were fighting over in that God forsaken country.

Kerry does NOT support the military. He does not support the War on Terrorism. He will negotiate with the UN for getting them involved with the struggle in the Middle East. We will have the Clinton years all over again. Nothing will get done and we will end up being a weaker nation for it.

I know that you must be a wonderful person since you are Guy's daughter. Guy and I have known each other for longer than you have been with us on earth.

Here is a copy of some real eye opening information that may cause you to stop thinking with your heart and start to think with your head.

Long after he changed sides in congressional hearings, Mr. Kerry lobbied for renewed trade relations with Hanoi. At the same time, his cousin C.Stewart Forbes, chief executive for Colliers International, assisted in brokering a $905 million deal to develop a deep-sea port at Vung Tau, Vietnam ??? an odd coincidence.

As noted in the Inside Politics column of Nov. 14 (Nation), historian Douglas Brinkley is writing Mr. Kerry's biography. Hopefully, he'll include the senator's latest ignominious feat: preventing the Vietnam Human Rights Act (HR2833) from coming to a vote in the Senate, claiming human rights would deteriorate as a result. His actions sent a clear signal to Hanoi that Congress cares little about the human rights for which so many Americans fought and died.

The State Department ranked Vietnam among the 10 regimes worldwide least tolerant of religious freedom. Recently, 354 churches of the Montagnards, a Christian ethnic minority, were forcibly disbanded, and by mid-October, more than 50 Christian pastors and elders had been arrested in Dak Lak province alone. On Oct. 29, the secret police executed three Montagnards by lethal injection simply for protesting religious repression. The communists are conducting a pogrom against the Montagnards, forcing Christians to drink a mixture of goat's blood and alcohol and renounce Christianity. Thousands have been killed or imprisoned or have just "disappeared." The Montagnards lost one-half of their adult male population fighting for the United States, and without them, there might be thousands more American names on that somber black granite wall at the Vietnam memorial.

As Mr. Kerry contemplates a run for the presidency, people must remember that he has fought harder for Hanoi as an anti-war activist and a senator than he did against the Vietnamese communists while serving in the Navy in Vietnam.

MICHAEL BENGE Foreign Service officer and former Vietnam POW (1968 to 1973) Washington Ladies and Gents, I give you John Kerry, traitor, liar and cowardly bastard. And here I was, thinking that I already had ENOUGH reasons to despise him.

I today am forced by the workings of my own conscience to commit my sentiment that Sen. Kerry remains one of the great traitors of our time. I am here publishing my opinion of the same and offering my public analysis and general advisement to the Executive that the Senator be immeditely arrested and summarily hung for treason.

I base this opinion not only on the above cited work he has accomplished on the behalf of Communism in Viet-Nam, he fought for the US Navy for 4 months and has fought for Communist viet-Nam ever since, but also on the new disturbing examples which have been well addressed on FR.

I cannot help thinking that it may be possible John Kerry has deliberately and willfully conspired to overthrow the government of the United States. This he perhaps has publicly admitted by referring to his rapport with 'anonymous foreign leaders' and their support for his electoral campaign. In lending their support, the other countries have violated several rules of protocol and perhaps international treaty law.

The impertinence of this secret alliance between Kerry and foreign leaders is so inappropriate that it can only be given the most contemptuous regard.

Will you resign your post as an "Intelligence Analyst for the U.S. Government" if Kerry wins?

And, pray tell, why that is relevant?

Kerry had only 90 days service in-country, but was so outrageous, so much of a loudmouth as a single very junior officer, that the CNO specifically and directly complained about him!

Are you claiming "this" is responsible leadership?

Would be interesting to read the citations for all the medals he was awarded in 3-4 months of time in RVN.

If a gubmint employee is posting on this site claiming his potential Commander in Chief is a traitor, I am curious whether he will resign his position if Kerry is elected or he will take it all back for the sake of a few more dollars in the pension plan.

Kerry is a phony leftwing internationalist One Worlder and I have no desire to see him elected, and I have no idea what the rest of your post is suppose to mean.

Welcome to the light. By going behind the State Department's back and actively seeking the endorsement of foreign governments, Kerry very well may be committing treason against the United States.

Others in his boat squadron report that "all" medal awards were written up by the person himself, then routed for initials by the CO.

So, Kerry wrote his own awards.

I heard his silver star was for killing an unarmed VC who was trying to escape after being hit with a round from a 50 cal machine gun. Real heroic.

First of all, Kerry will not be elected President. Let's knock off that BS right now. Second, I'm glad someone in the government is stating the truth. Why do we only give credit and recognition to the malcontents?

"As Mr. Kerry contemplates a run for the presidency, people must remember that he has fought harder for Hanoi as an anti-war activist and a senator than he did against the Vietnamese communists while serving in the Navy in Vietnam."

And he fought harder to land two heiresses than for the other two put together.

Kerry is a traitorous, egocentric cockeroach. He has more sides to his opinions than a millipede has legs.
