Those that hate you, also tend to fear you - that's exactly how I want my enemies, full of open hatred and shaking with fear.

But one of the largest gaps between Americans and Europeans concerns the question of whether people who move to the U.S. have a better life. Americans overwhelmingly believe this to be the case – 88% say people who move to the U.S. from other countries have a better life. By contrast, just 14% of Germans, 24% of French and 41% of British think that people who have moved to the U.S. from their countries have a better life.

What a dopey question to ask random people. Why not just ask the people who moved here?

On second thought, who cares either way?

Let's poll the ones that moved here and not the ones back home.

90% of divorced women and men think their ex-spouses are less happy with their new life.

I'd rather we tell any who ask that it just sucks here, and they should just stay at home.

And this surprises?????

The Europeans have been "primed" since long BEFORE GWB took office that America was becoming "evil" (eight years of the VRWC immediately preceeding aided a bit as well). So now a willing public receives daily doses of anti-american reprting and we expect them to have a positive image??

Yep. What was the Conan the Barbarian line, about crushing your enemies and hearing the lamentation of their women? ;)

Across Europe, there is considerable support for the European Union to become as powerful as the United States.

Only one thing standing in their way............reality.

Who cares if the Euros love us or not? I'd rather have them running after the U.S. trying to catch up than have us holding ourselves back so we can cozy up to them.

I lived in Europe during most of the 80's - the Europeans resent our energy, our strength, our drive, our ability to do what we want - they are jealous of the fact that we have successfully avoided the path to Socialism - at least so far.

I'd rather have them resent and dislike us than become like them.

Many Say U.S. Aims for World Domination (Muslim nations)

BWAHAHAHAhahaha!

When you can't run your own affairs, you always fear someone else will come in and do it for you.

All of us here are here because either we could no longer tolerate the tyranny of our mother country, or because its tyrants could no longer tolerate us. It really be of little surprise that our concepts and notions of freedom and free men are repugnant to the rest of the world-they seem to enjoy the bootheel.

Muslim's angry still?? Let's look at that "Good Book" that they hand to all their children...the one that says kill all the Christians or anyone who is not a Muslim. The teachings still exist today. It is a mindset of evil.

The 4 wives helps their ranks. Usama had 51 siblings.

"Muslim's angry still??"
Why are muslims angry at all? They arent the ones who get killed just for riding a train... or bus... or going to work in the morning... or being Jewish... or being American.
