SPRING BREAK: KERRY RETREATS TO HIS SUN VALLEY MANSION FOR 5-DAY LUXURY UNWIND

Dem candidate-in-waiting John Kerry is set for a 5-day luxury break at his Sun Valley, Idaho compound after a week riddled with gaffes, missteps and slippage in the polls.

Gorgeous, 19.5 rooms at 7,749 square-feet, with a market value of $4.9 million [property taxes of more than $30,000 annually], Kerry's Idaho vacation getaway will be the setting of a Spring Break regroup and unwind, sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.

Private. Kerry is looking forward to enjoying the property, including the grounds, which have been freshly landscaped with Canadian Bluegrass, Fescue and Brome Mixes at a cost of more than $200,000, records show.

Unique. The mansion's "Great Room" is a 500 year old Barn, imported from England and then reassembled in Idaho.

NEAR SOROS

While rejuvenating in Sun Valley, Kerry may meet with neighbor George Soros.

The financier and philanthropist -- and outspoken critic of the Bush administration -- recently purchased a 9,000-square-foot 11-bedroom spread close to the Kerry compound.

ABROAD

While Kerry and his wife's homes in the United States are worth at least $23,733,705, it is not clear if the candidate owns property overseas.

The campaign has repeatedly denied requests for any information on foreign assets held by Kerry.

So, why won't he cop to that? If that is common knowledge, why the mystery. What else does he own????

As an native son of Idaho, let me direct Senator Kerry to a bumpersticker that used to be real popular in Idaho: "Welcome to Idaho, NOW GO HOME!" If that doesn't get him to go home, read another popular bumpersticker: "Welcome to Idaho, the tickfever state."

"after a week riddled with gaffes, missteps and slippage in the polls."

This ain't no spring break!

This will be an intensive retreat, during which he can get his latest spins rehearsed and get himself wound up for the next round of incoming salvos from the Bush camp.....

Go get him, GW!

Don't stop, just because Kerry's momentarily out of breath!

I am thinking of property in the far east. Remember the port deal his cousin got when Kerry buried the MIA deal. Wonder if John has some property in VN or Thailand or Singapore. What with the port, maybe he owns some property that is rented by his cousin's business. I don't care about family property. More interested in sweet deals for the Senator who helped bury the MIA stuff.

Yep, a lot of ketchup and pickles. Both Teresa and John Effin' have gotten where they are by marrying money.

This just in: France's GNP took an unexpected leap this week. Exports of Pouilly Fusay, escargots, brie and foie gras to Idaho has given the country a much needed boost.

The campaign has repeatedly denied requests for any information on foreign assets held by Kerry.

As well as denied requests for his medical record and names of foreign leaders he's met with to undermine the POTUS.

FOREIGN ASSET ALERT. Yall forget the grass and the servants. The foreign assets are what is important here

There is a time for fun and time to be serious for sure. We DO need to find out about these "assets". Kerry needs to answer a lot of questions. Even if he was not running for President, as a Senator, he is a SECURITY RISK.

Well, at least it's his wife's. The Clinton's never owned anything so they had to mooch off of rich "friends" (who of course never wanted anything....)

Dang - I always have my thunder stolen on this board. Lets see after the 5 day retreat how much younger and vibrant J.F'n.K. looks due to the fresh mountain springs (botox) and the clean air (more botox). I predict he will emerge from ths retreat as a new man (even more botox).

I agree; i don't know what else he owns, and I think the American people have a right to know.

(Though a revelation, say, that Janus Effing Kerry had been taking a little R and R in Brittany while France was stonewalling the US at the UN would not play too well, either.)

Should be a nice break for Kerry. He'll be able to kick back, put on his flip-flops, have some Belgian waffles..and examine both sides of his new policy positions.
