Let me make sure I got this right...freedom for 20 million people is a fiasco, but the past and present cold booded slaughter of innocent civilians in Iraq is acceptable.

And this guy openly supports J. F'in. K.

Pray for the Spanish people...and pray for America.

What does Zapatero think of his buddy Kerry's Vietnam legacy?

April 30, 2000 -- Happily waving, cheerfully dressed, Vietnamese schoolchildren gather to honor the memorable words John "Fickle" Kerry spoke to their parents in the 1970's...

"Good luck, Vietnam."
"We're outta here."
"Have a good life, folks."
John Fickle Kerry, 1971

You know, this moron's comments could very well blow up in Kerry's face. Aside from pinning Zappy's outrageous comments on Kerry, I think the BC'04 campaign should start doing an analysis of French foreign policy initiatives, and ask Kerry whether he thinks this is the kind of nation the US should turn to first in creating foreign coalitions.

I always thought a "fiasco" was a kind of Italian wine bottle (with the basket base)

Spain's new leader intensified his criticism of the U.S.-led occupation of Iraq on Wednesday, saying it was "turning into a fiasco."

...coward say what?

You are exactly right.

And another aspect being ignored by the phony liberal news is, the allegence between his Socialist (Communist) party and the ilk WWP Workers World Pary (also Communist, with allegence to anti-USA terrorists such as Muslim terror) - the allegence between the two can be discovered in 5 minutes by coming to San Francisco CA and looking at the literature of the WWP company.

This is the leftist wing that wants the US to lose the war on terror, the leftist wing that actually aids, in so many ways, the terrorist network, including the illegal aliens from Morocco who are terrorists prior to 911, prior to Iraq, who have entered into Spain and in fact train WITH organizations such as ETA.

It is not really a misrepresentation to say, as did some protesters in Spain AGAINST the Socialist government have said today, this wasn't a victory, an election, of the Socialist Party, but of the al-Quaeda.

This guy is still wet behind the ears and heads up a nation with a series internal terrorism problem. Does he actually think anyone cares what he has to say about Al-Qaida?

There's something fishy about this whole thing.

Contrary to popular belief, al-Qaida gains very little from this event. As Mark Steyn pointed out, the New Hampshire National Guard supplies more troops to Iraq than Spain. Al-Qaida has to sway many, many more elections to put a tiny dent in the number of troops, Iraq's democratization is GOING TO HAPPEN, and the terrorists MUST KNOW IT. If anything, the resolve of the rest of the Western world seems to have increased as a result.

I see all the evidence cropping up to implicate al-Qaida, but this one simply isn't their style, these were REMOTE DETONATIONS, indicating secular operatives. Al-Qaida never has admitted 9-11 yet for this one someone conveniently puts it in writing? Anyone could send an anonymous letter claiming credit for this one, and considering WHO HAD THE MOST TO GAIN and WHO IS IN CHARGE NOW OF THE INVESTIGATION, it wouldn't surprise me if it was Zapatero, as his words above indicate that he is not afraid at all of another attack. Why, he may be the only Spaniard NOT shaking in his shoes right now. How can he be so sure? Could it be because he is the only one who knows IT WASN'T AL-QAIDA who performed this dastardly deed?

Far-fetched? Since when did SOCIALISTS not see their own civilians expendable to achieve their grand design?

The problem in dealing with terrorism as a law enforcement issue is that you cannot do anything until after an attack...
