One more time.

If Hillary smells blood, she has no choice but to accept the VP slot. It all depends on the polls.

Here it is, the bait and switch. When JFK slumps and its time to pull a Torricelli, she will be there to take the nomination, no questions asked.
If she wins, great. If she loses, its not her fault and she is the defacto candidate in 2008 for the Demos.

Kerry is a weak nominee and it's very possible that he will lose the nomination at the convention as it so happens Hillary the beast will be waiting in the wings.....how about that!!!!!!!!

If Kerry picks her, his days are numbered. That woman will not stand for "second in command." My bet is that he would be removed one way or another (scandal, framed impeachment, or otherwise) by Hitlery's goons.

He had prostate cancer? I never heard that before. That's amazing, you'd think the media would be talking about him being a cancer survivor, or saying something about his poor health. I can't believe this isn't all over radio and TV.</sarcasm

Hmmmmm......
On thinking it over, I don't know which might be better.
I'd love to see Mc Lame switch to the Dems once and for all. He may well be the worst RINO in history.
Then again, Hitlery might be a good pick. I think she'd lose it for them.

Hillary and Mccain are about the only 2 people Kerry could pick that would substantially help his odds. Like her or not ,Hillary does have quite a following.

Kerry/Clinton would be a problem for Bush, but I just don't see it. I think she's decided Kerry can't win, so better for her to just sit out til 08.

She has nothing to lose.... and if she does lose, she'll just blame Kerry.

" I never really felt that Andrea Mitchell was all that objective in her reporting."

She's never objective. Besides the obvious anti administration slant to her reports, she always throws in little digs. For instance- last week, the administration displayed some of the hardware from Libya's nuke program at Oak Ridge, TN.
Andrea reported it this way-Oak Ridge, nuclear program,Libya, blah, blah - the administration " claimed."
NBC obviously doesn't believe the administration.
Brian Williams also had the same qualifier, when he introduced the piece. "Or so they say ", I believe was his dig.
The same Brian Williams who, when doing the financial summary, reported that the NASDAQ had declined " almost 3% "-when the number on display said 2.28 %.

Last month, Kerry/Clinton polled 32% against Bush/Cheney at (I think/not sure)52%.

Kerry/Edwards was either up against Bush/Cheney in the same poll or they were tied at 50%/50%...can't recall.

Some FReeper should have that poll.

Her negatives are so high, it would have to be either a money deal or because no one else wants to be associated w/Kerry. Hillary may think *VP nominee* would look good on her resume, regardless.

Personally, I think she is making the mistake of taking Bill's advice. Considering his recent track record, I think she should take it.

No family member of the President can be appointed to the President's cabinet. You have Bobby Kennedy to thank for that.

They don't care one iota about the law. It would be EXACTLY like them for her to appoint him to something anyway and dare anyone to do anything about it.

I agree .. she would be a terrible choice. However, Kerry needs the money only Hillary can provide.

And .. if Kerry doesn't pick her .. she will shut off the money.

I'm not sure he will select her because she will overshadow his candidacy. She is a significantly bigger draw among libs than he ever would be.....even if they won the Whitehouse! Besides, I'm guessing that Ter-ray-zah doesn't want a female veep. I imagine she also thinks of herself as one who would be co-president with her husband.

My thoughts, exactly! Johnny can NOT allow her as his running mate: He KNOWS he'd be dead within a month.

Hmm. I can't find that poll at all. I did see a poll where Hillary was the VP choice of 32% of Dems in some county somewhere.

I'd be very surprised if she hurt the ticket. Yeah, she's got high negatives, but that's almost all with people who would never vote for Kerry anyway.
