Rule #1: Don't say nothin' to nobody!
Rule #2: Don't trust nobody, not even your Mother!
If more criminals followed these simple rules, the Police would have a much more difficult job. Fortunately for us all, criminals are stupid.

SCOTT'S STICKY TAPESScott found out long ago that this situation couldn't be fixed by duct tape alone..

GOOD!! Let the games begin. I, for one, will be glad to see the perpetual smirk wiped of off Snotty's face --- and the tapes, along with Amber's testimony, ought to do that!

If Gregaros doesn't get his way, and get another change of venue, The Judge has set May 17, as the day for opening statements.
I think it was the 17th. I know for sure it was May. Its the pits when you can't remember from one room to the next. :-)

I know I couldn't possibly serve on that jury.

Peterson said he told his wife about the affair and she was "at peace" ....... He omitted to mention to Diane that as he told Laci, she was wearing a blue tarp and heading for a coral reef...

How many of us, IF we had the time to serve, would make it onto the jury? I would definitely be thrown off because my brother is an attorney and most importantly because I had a baby the week Connor was to be born.

From the article above:
"Another woman said that if she found Peterson guilty of the charges, she would only recommend death and would not consider an optional punishment of life in prison."
That would be me...I wouldn't make it either

I think most of us regular posters would be rejected. I imagine they would look for people who haven't visted web sites on this topic or posted to chats or discussion boards. If you were picked, could you be fair? Interestingly, I think I could. I'm very good at being objective/analytical when I need to be and I do believe that people deserve fair trials. I thought it was interesting that the questionnaire asked if the respondent had training in psychology/counseling, etc. Is that something the defense wants or doesn't want? Mmmmmm I'm not terribly knowledgable of jury selection, although I do think it is more art than science. It's easier to predict individual behavior than group behavior.

Sorry for the mental image, but I thought this would be a Scott Ritter thread.
