Good summary, Eric.

Just a couple addenda...

Stennis was subsequently named by one of the VVAW participants as having been one of the proposed targets.

Kerry was not only at the KC meeting (known in advance to include assassination discussion on its agenda), not only took action to evade surveillance (implying guilty knowledge), not only took part in "deliberations," not only falsely denied ever being there (implying continuing guilty knowledge), but also voted (allegedly against) on the proposition. IOW, he ratified the discussion and the vote on assassination.

The assassination attempt on Stennis may have been informally implemented by renegade members of the KC meeting following Kerry's departure from the organization.

The Kerry campaign, which is reportedly in possession of a huge FBI file on Kerry/VVAW, has released only snippets of information from that file. It has not authorized the FBI to make the entire file public. Why? What is Kerry hiding?
