The national board of the Republican Liberty Caucus has just voted unanimously to endorse the Free State Project.

That's the movement working to get 20,000 liberty-lovers relocated into New Hampshire for the purpose of preserving one free place in this increasingly socialist-infested nation.

The national Libertarian Party, however, has voted not to endorse the FSP.

Regarding some of the comments about living standard in New Hampshire ... check out what one of the least big-gov states in the U.S. rates as:

New Hampshire named most-livable state for 2004

Ironic that a smaller state government creates a better place to live? I think not! :)

On the east coast, South Carolina is as far north as I can handle winter.

You can't handle winter at all then. South Carolina doesn't have a winter. Does it snow in South Carolina at least once a year. Green Christmases? It may not even have much of a Fall or Spring.
Would you at least consider the hills of Western Virginia (not West Virginia but Western Virginia)?
