TRUTH WITHOUT INTERRUPTION DAY ( www.choice4truth.com/twid.htm )

On April 21, homosexual activists and their supporters will hold "Day of Silence" events on high school and college campuses throughout the country, sponsored by GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network. (For more details, see www.dayofsilence.org.) It will be a silent vigil and the usual victimhood and "gay" rights claims. Participants will hand out material promoting homosexuality, bisexuality and cross-dressing.

How would you like to hold a counter-event the same day? We are calling it the Truth Without Interruption Day! Finally - a chance to get a word in edgewise!

If you'd like to organize one at your school, see below. You'll find links to: Talking Points (feel free to print this off and hand out); Tips for Organizing a TWID event; and a sample news release.

The dates listed in the links above are from the April 10, 2002 event. The dates will need to be changed to April 21, 2004 for this year's event.

For those students who choose to host a "Truth Without Interruption Day" event and are met with resistance from school administrators, here are two useful links:

The Homosexual Movement in Massachusetts Schools

On March 25, 2000 the Massachusetts Departments of Education and Health teamed up with the national gay and lesbian group GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network) and conducted a conference for school children and educators.  The conference was held under the guise of tolerance and safe schools.  However, as the Parent's Rights Coalition discovered, this conference was about teaching children the unsafe mechanics of homosexuality.  Following the conference, organizers denied claims of misconduct made by the Parent's Rights Coalition.  Organizers were forced to concede the truth after the Parent's Rights Coalition made public an audio recording from the conference, which substantiated their claims.  A free copy of the Parent's Rights Coalition audio tape can be obtained from the Massachusetts News web page.  Alternatively, if your computer is audio capable, then you may listen to the following 10 audio clips, in order, to hear the entire contents of the free audio tape.

A word of caution to parents:  These audio clips contain graphic sexual language and are not appropriate for children.  Note that these clips were created for the RealPlayer program.  If after clicking on the audio clips below you determine that the RealPlayer program in not on your system, you may be able to obtain a free copy of RealPlayer Basic under the Real home page located here.

An excerpt from GLSEN's "Largest-Ever Youth-Led Event Dedicated to Ending Discrimination Against Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Students in Schools"

"The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, or GLSEN, today announced student-led local and national plans for what will be the largest-ever youth-led event dedicated to ending discrimination against lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) students in schools. The 9th annual Day of Silence will be observed on April 21, 2004, and is expected to break last year’s record-setting participation of more than 200,000 students and teachers in nearly 2,000 K – 12 schools from across the nation.

“It is with great pride and excitement that GLSEN once again prepares to coordinate the Day of Silence,” said GLSEN Executive Director Kevin Jennings. “We here at GLSEN are incredibly inspired by the great number of students who will be silently, yet powerfully, standing up for themselves, their peers and the ideals of safety and respect for all.”

For the third straight year GLSEN is leading the coordination of the Day of Silence, which was founded in 1996 by students at the University of Virginia, and by 2002 had become a landmark national event. During the Day, participating students, teachers and faculty, take a vow of silence to protest discrimination leveled at LGBT people in their schools..."

An excerpt from Tolerance.org's 'Mix It Up Stories' - "For GLBT Community, Silence Speaks Volumes"

"... Sponsored by the national Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, the Day of Silence calls on students -- mostly high school, but some college, middle school and even elementary students take part -- to remain silent for a single school day..."

Homosexual Agenda Ping + Horrendous Assault on Children in YOUR Public School Alert!

Parents and Grandparents Please Read This! The Homosexual Rights advocates are very likely in a school near you. If you don't want your children ruined for life, please snatch them out of public school immediately.

It's impossible to protect children just by "opting out" of sex-ed classes. The promoters of homosexuality are infiltrating the entire school systems, with this insane "Day of Silence" cr*p, mandatory assemblies, "gay" teachers telling kids about their "weddings", and on and on.

Let me know if anyone wants on/off this ping list.

P.S. This thread has invaluable information, links and so on. The information contained herein NEEDS to be broadcast as widely as possible.

It seems to me that deliberately remaining silent for one entire day means non-participation in classroom activities, i.e., insubordination. All of these schools allow this? What if the Christian students and teachers tried the same thing on Ash Wednesday? I know, dumb questions.
