They have been instructed as they left their public screwalls to get a job then as quickly as possible to leave it, collect unemployment, spend their time boycotting and any tyranny or anarchy they can come up with as their full time occupation. Rice & beans?? who knows what they are eating, but I'm sure since these are free speech issues they will consider getting the tax payers to pay for their food and lodging while they are getting carted around, and don't forget they are all going to stop shopping also to screw up the economy in that area also, orchestrated??? Perhaps if these communities would make a committment to the bank by actually paying their mortgages(or at least rents for their credit history) and keep their credit history clean, this would not be a problem. When I met my husband, as caucasian as they come, he could not be approved for a home either. He had to pay off some things first and write letters for things that were still on there. My guess is that hispanics and blacks could do the same except I tend to wonder based on reactions to other areas if some think they are being discriminated against because they might actually have to *gasp* clean up their credit first or come up with more money down because of their credit risk and don't even try at all and would rather go home to some crappy apartment and complain about how the *man* is keeping him/her down. I think perhaps many don't have enough family experience with home ownership and how banking/interest rates work to understand that you are graded based on credit scores and those scores are color-blind. Next it is based on income and I'm sorry, but unless you are coming with a chunk of change showing you are willing to take a risk, you are not going to get a bank to finance you for a 100k home making 8 bucks an hour.

Wonder why this group doesn't tell us what each person represented in those percentages got turned down for? I bet that in every last case there is something that makes them a poor credit risk. Perhaps if some were bright enough, that would make them consider looking into their own racial communities and asking why 1/2 of us are poor credit risks? Why do so many of us have prior convictions(probably for fraud which will exclude you automatically just about from getting approved)? Why do so many of us have poor credit ratings? Why have so many of us defaulted on prior committments? Until these minority sects are willing to ask those tough questions of themselves, they will continue to be denied loans at staggering rates.
I guess though that some see the bank just like the government. Money with no responsibility or accountability for receiving it. Welfare, WIC, and many other programs have created a gaggle full of people who think money grows on trees and should be given to them no matter how they live their lives. Hell, I bet a good portion of those protesting think it is ok to break in a home if someone has something that they want because it is unfair for someone to get more than me. We are on the downward spiral. If those of us in the rational world do not act aggressively to put a cork in this crap, we might as well kiss the US we know and love goodbye.

Pure speculation on my part: Further skewing the numbers is the number of high-risk/poor-credit whites who never bother to try to get credit, as opposed to the high number of minorities who, no matter how bad their situation, always seem to have programs and policies that give them approval in spite of their poor record. The clear message for years has been that underqualified minorities can still get approval in most areas of public life, so why would they shy away from at least trying to get a loan? Whites, on the other hand, have learned that they have no special outs, and if they've been denied once, there'e no use in applying for anything again for mny years.

"Please let everyone know that no tax money from Wichita Public Schools were used in this attack on Mr. Rove. If a teacher or staff member were part of this, it was on their own time and their own dime. THOSE ARE NOT WICHITA BUSES - we would not have allowed them to be used in that way. I believe this gentleman's assertion that Wichita wouldn't allow this type of use of school district property. In addition, I have not yet seen any claims in the press coverage that there were children present from Wichita, Kansas, so I don't think it would be responsible to assume that Ms. Palacios had brought children from her school. Therefore, I have pulled the links to Ms. Palacios' Principal and Board of Education member. While I still decry Ms. Palacios' tactics as morally disgusting and arguably criminal, I don't believe that she misused her position as a school employee to secure buses or children for her attacks on Mr. Rove, Secretary Chao, or the Washington office of J.P. Morgan.

However, it still appears that there were children from Cleveland present at Sunday's violent attack on Mr. Rove's home. Understandably, I believe that Ms. Killingsworth, an employee of a Cleveland middle school, may have brought children from her school to this violent event and stood by while criminal activity occurred.
