Define the New American

My barber has a subscription to The New American and about twice a month, as I sit in his shop waiting for a haircut, I pick up the latest issue and read what I consider to be some of the most in depth journalism available. Their knack for covering the major issues from angles that other sources seem to miss is refreshing.

I don’t mean to imply that I am in agreement with each and every aspect of the coverage, but, at the same time, I do feel that they strive to call the shots with a certain fairness not found in most of the better known publications.

They are critical of both parties in such a way that I find myself reading with glee their opposition to Democrats and the Liberal Agenda while taking exception to what appears to be an equal dislike of the present administration.

The greatest enjoyment I receive from reading their publication comes from the articles on America’s founding fathers. I have no doubt that these pieces are well researched and factual and that they portray the leaders that shaped this great country in a light that can’t be found in the nation’s leading universities.

Maybe the second best thing about The New American is that they seem to bare the same, if not to a greater degree, disdain of the UN as I do. Some of the most critical comments on the “World Body” that I have ever read were contained between the covers of the New American.

Here’s hoping that others more familiar with their background and views than myself will take the time to reply to this post and help me understand something that’s been bothering me for a little while now. That being; just who would they support for President?

I see that FR's april fool contingent has arrived, ready to fight what they see as 'conservative' apostasy wherever it can be found..
There are no fools like some of FR's old communitarian fools. -- They never learn.

You better get back to Arator and his band of Bush-bashers. They need your awesome insight.

Not because of their wit, mind you, but despite it.

You could set new records for being insipid.

Sorry tex, forgot to ping you.

Having met with--& Talked with Gene Krantz a few years ago,--You'll have a VERY HARD TIME convincing me that "His Guys" DIDN'T go to the Moon.

The "Hollywood-Sound Stage-Jerkweeds" are a CLASSIC EXAMPLE of the "Intellectually Constipated" Leftist Paranoids who STILL "Dominate" a portion of the "Intellectually Lazy Semi-Educated" now employed by some of the "Left-Media."

Fortunately, the Internet, some "Talk Radio," &--as a result of the "above,"--Fox News, have been able to present, "The Other Side."

Our "National Debate" has become a BIT "More Balanced."

DESPITE the claims of the "SCREAMING CRAZIES of the LEFT," we DID "Go to the Moon--Several Times."

& DESPITE the UNPARALLELED VITRIOL of the "LEFTMEDIA," "W" has REDUCED "AL_QUEDA" to a "Nub," & is RAPIDLY Deystroying it & it's "Metastases" around the world.

John KERRY is from my "Home State," & I would be PROUD to have "One of Ours" as President.

There SHOULD HAVE BEEN a better way for Mr Kerry to voice his objections to Vietnam.

In MANY WAYS, Mr Kerry "Went Over the Line" in his opposition to official US Policy.

His "Testimony" CLEARLY Betrayed & Denigrated his fellow Soldiers--Many of whom served FAR LONGER than He.

There is AMPLE EVIDENCE that he "Gave Aid & Comfort to our Enemies (see the Statements & Memoirs of the North Vietnamese).

Mr Kerry is NOT FIT to be our President--EVER.

IMHO

One of my favorite magazines, do I agree with everything they say, no, most of it, yes. There are a lot of good: 2nd amendment articles, pro life, anti UN, school choice, morals, values and a great History section near the end. I think I've see the word illuminati and bilderberger written twice in the last 4 years I've been getting the magazine and you DO NOT have to be a member of the JBS to order the magazine.
