Michelle Malkin: The grievance-mongers -- National People's Action is a left-wing goon squad
Washington Times ^ | Friday, March 2, 2004 | Michelle Malkin
There is a guerrilla group on the loose in this country. But you wouldn't know it from the liberal media, which portrays the group's members as harmless activists with good hearts.

-- here is the picture from the Washington Post's account of the attack on Karl Rove's home:

I32162-2004Mar28L.jpg

"Christina Haynes, 11, of Cleveland and other demonstrators hold protest signs from school buses near the home of presidential adviser Karl Rove."

Given that, the relevant question here is where did the buses and the children come from?

I would be sorely disappointed if the Justice Dept. or the IRS did not want to take a deep dive into this organization's books and background. Sorry, but I believe they brought that kind of action on themselves...can you imagine if a conservative group used those kind of nazi tactics? The NY Times would be OUTraged.

I'd be tempted, myself... of course here they'd have to clear the wire first and then deal with the dog- I'm really amazed Rove didn't have better perimeter security.

Personally, I'd like to see them camp out on the lawns of those pro-crimalien, anti-america dorks like Rove from now until the election.

They are nothing more than a window into America's future under present policy.

Malkin has some info that some of these groups are receiving some funding from our tax dollars and from some of T Heinz Kerry's humanitarian organizations.

So who's surprised?

Remember the war protestors? They were solidly funded by various humanitarian and socialist groups.

These opposition groups are funded. They don't 'just happen' out of the blue.

To quote Judge Judy, "Follow the money," but I don't many on FR would be surprised to see where the money originates.

If you thought the New Left was dead in America, think again. Walk through just about any of the nation’s inner cities, and you’re likely to find an office of ACORN, bustling with young people working 12-hour days to “organize the poor” and bring about “social change.” The largest radical group in the country, ACORN has 120,000 dues-paying members, chapters in 700 poor neighborhoods in 50 cities, and 30 years’ experience. It boasts two radio stations, a housing corporation, a law office, and affiliate relationships with a host of trade-union locals. Not only big, it is effective, with some remarkable successes in getting municipalities and state legislatures to enact its radical policy goals into law.
