Kerry: Iraq a Great Failure of Judgment
Associated Press
WASHINGTON - Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry on Wednesday called the situation in Iraq "one of the greatest failures of diplomacy and failures of judgment that I have seen in all the time that I've been in public life."
"Where are the people with the flowers, throwing them in the streets, welcoming the American liberators the way Dick Cheney said they would be?" Kerry said in an interview with American Urban Radio Networks.
"Since I fought in Vietnam, I have not seen an arrogance in our foreign policy like this."

And Mr. Kerry would suggest that we sit around a table, drink green tea, talk about our feelings, our childhods, and just have a big huggy-kissy time.
We're dealing with terrorists the right way. BY KILLING THEM.

The great failure of judgment is with Kerry. If this bozo can't keep his mouth shut he might as well concede the election now. What an embarrassment this guy is, even for a Democrat.

It seems so sweet when the enemy echoes the liberal Democrat icon, Ted Kennedy or is it the other way around that the leftist are in lock step with the terrorist. I would like too direct this statement at Sen. Kennedy and the Democratic Party, we are at war with a sinister enemy called terrorism. If this was a war against fascism, the liberals would be out for blood but since this is a war on Islamic terrorism the democrats are humming a different tune of love and peace. In truth these terrorist are Islamo fascist. The left in this nation and worldwide has formulated a temporary alliance with evil.
I have a easy question for the liberals who is running Sen. Kerrys campaign, and why are the terrorist whistling the same anti-American song that the democrats are singing the eve of destruction.
Al-Sadr Uses Teddy Kennedy's Pet Phrase
Al-Sadr said Iraq would become "another Vietnam" for the United States unless it transfers power to Iraqis who are not connected with the U.S.-led occupation authority.
"I call upon the American people to stand beside their brethren, the Iraqi people, who are suffering an injustice by your rulers and the occupying army, to help them in the transfer of power to honest Iraqis," al-Sadr said in a statement from his office in the southern city of Najaf. "Otherwise, Iraq will be another Vietnam for America and the occupiers."

...And JohnEffinKerry is ahead in the polls!I don't think so.
If you look at each state individually, Bush has greater leads in the states that he won in 2000 and he leads in several states that he lost in 2000.
When Kerry speaks off the cuff he digs his own political grave.
The guy must be getting senile.
By November 2, if he is the candidate at that time, he will be lucky to get 40% of the vote!!

He wrote himself up for a chest full of medals and left the men under his command to fight the war. Then he betrayed them again when he got home. Kennedy and Kerry, what a sorry fate for the cradle of American liberty, Massachusetts.

"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs." - Letter to President Clinton, signed by Sens. Carl Levin (D-MI), Tom Daschle (D-SD), John Kerry( D - MA), and others Oct. 9,1998
"Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime ... He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation ... And now he is miscalculating America's response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction ... So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real" - Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Jan. 23. 2003
"I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force-- if necessary-- to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security." - Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9,2002

"Where are the people with the flowers, throwing them in the streets, welcoming the American liberators the way Dick Cheney said they would be?" Kerry Uh, Mr. Kerry, where were you when Baghdad fell? Did you not see the people celebrating in the streets? Have you not seen the reports from the troops about how much the majority of Iraqi's like them there? Mr. Kerry, as great as our military is, didn't it occur to you that one of the primary reasons the US was able to invade so successfully was because alot of the people there were WAITING for the Americans, so they could get rid of Saddam? I mean, WHERE are you COMING from? I have heard this mantra now, with the "flowers" comment, from a couple other democrats, I think it was in their talking points memo or something. They are hoping that the latest fighting, due to a small minority in Iraq, will erase the memory of the glorious fall of Baghdad.
Ya know, they just might be right, no one ever got poor betting against the attention span of the average American.

throwing flowers in the streets, welcoming the American liberators...Why blame Cheney for underestimating the stupidity of the Iraqis? Who would have thought sane people would not welcome those who liberated them from the unspeakably cruel heel of the dictator Saddam? [of course many do, but the Demonrats seize upon those who do not] Particulary when that liberator was prepared to rebuild their infrastructure to better than it was before their liberation, give $billions in aid, help them in a myriad of other ways, and return the country to them with a chance for democracy for the first time. How arrogant is that John Kerry!? How fair is it to blame the US and Bush for it all the ensuing problems? And how fair is it to the sacrifice and struggle of our fine troops executing our policies?

Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry on Wednesday called the situation in Iraq "one of the greatest failures of diplomacy and failures of judgment that I have seen in all the time that I've been in public life." This is funny coming from someone who made a huge case FOR the Iraq war back in 2002.
What a two faced double-talking phony Kerry is.
"Where are the people with the flowers, throwing them in the streets, welcoming the American liberators the way Dick Cheney said they would be?" Kerry said in an interview with American Urban Radio Networks.
I have hours of them cheering the Americans as we liberated Iraq on video tape.
Maybe Kerry thinks the Iraqis would prefer to go back to the days of the rape rooms, torture chambers and mass graves filled with 300,000 Iraqi citizens?
What exactly is Kerry's position? This man is a such a hypocrite.
