The idea that President Bush and his staff had warnings about 9/11 and did nothing is partisan politics at its worse

Did anyone catch the Hissy Chrissy Mathews interview with 9/11 widows after Dr. Rice's testimony? One widow said two very interesting things: 1) It was "widely known" all cabinet members stopped flying on September 11 because they knew something was going to happen that day, and 2) She (and the other widows) knew the name (and by inference, content) of the PDB that is being talked about. Will someone please tell me how anyone outside the inner circle of the NSA knows what is contained in CLASSIFIED documents? As a side note, Mathews said nothing to refute or question the assertions made. And, the "Bush was sitting in a classroom" line emerged once again.

Sorry if this offends anyone, but these media darlings have overstayed their welcome on my television screen.

I get a rash everytime I watch Sissy Mathews, no matter what the subject matter. Now we're finding out that many knew the contents of "classified" documents? What are these people going to do next, sell me a snow plow in Hawaii?

I could not agree with you more. The guy is embarrassing. It must be something in the water, here in Maryland, because we seem to have more than our share of these dim bulbs in government at ALL levels.
