Scott York was less than thrilled at hearing that Loudoun County, a Northern Virginia suburb of Washington, D.C., is the nation's fastest-growing county.
"The reward for being No. 1 is we're stuck in traffic," said York, chairman of the county Board of Supervisors. There also are several financial challenges, he said. "We've had to build 28 schools in the last eight years with 23 planned in the next six, so we've got no shortage of debt."

These trends should give liberals heartburn. The Red Zone has most of the fastest growing counties, whereas the Blue Zone is growing at the same rate as Europe: Very slowly. Perhaps this is because of all those abortions that they find so fashionable.
Yep, the "new tone in Washington." No vetoes, and we're the ones stuck paying for it.
