We listened to her speak on the radio so I didn't get to see it until later when it replayed on CSpan. On the radio her voice at first sounded nervous and several people in my office picked up on this, and started commenting that Bush was going burn after her testimony. When you see her speak you saw no signs nervousness or lack of composure.

I noticed the same thing. Her voice did sound shaky on the radio. I then went to a TV and she looked very confident. She had each person planned out. She knew which ones would give her trouble and seemed to almost know what they would ask her. She had memorized the issues that would reveal their hypocrisy.

Whenever I have heard Condi Rice speak, her voice has always sounded a little shaky and "weak," which is more of a physical trait. I did not find her to be nervous, actually I thought she was more than ready to be there.

I agree. She did seem to have some pent-up emotion that spilled over a little bit in her voice when she first started speaking. But she settled down pretty quickly.
