Do not dwell too much what media says. Some info cannot be reveal now for security reasons, but be assured they are not going to cave and let politicians dictate how military should be run.
GWB is Commander and Chief, he lets his generals run a war, not media! There is more then eye can see what is going on. But media reporting on this is totally out of content. As they did with Polish forces pull out, they doing same thing now.

The U.S. military says its troops are only fighting back if they are attacked first.Who the hell is giving orders here ? Is it the Military or the politicans ?
Are they trying to turn this into another Vietnam?
They need to shut up and win this war, dammit this is aggravating.

In the war that matters, the Islamist have won this one, thanks to a lack of will to fight. The war that matters is the war for the hearts and minds of the Iraq people. We now appear weak, and our staying power is now in doubt. Since we don't have the will to fight I think we had better get out of the middle east and hope that maybe Russia can deal with these people. We obvisouly can't.
If you do not intent to fight to win no matter what, then DON"T FIGHT AT ALL.

Reading through the Reuters spin, I'd say this is a death- rattling gasp from the enemy.

Maybe we can first discuss the size and shape of the table that will be used in negotiations. /s
Screw 'em! Give 'em an ultimatum to lay down their arms. They don't do that? Tell 'em they'll be wearing their 'a' holes as necklaces.

I think the DICK Clarke and John F Kerry should go to Falluja and work out the details of a cease fire.

I have just about had it with these guys. WE need to tell THEM that since all women and children have been removed from the city, either they surrender and turn over all hostages, we will flatten Falluja in 24 hours. PERIOD.
