Hopefully, enough people will read the actual document and figure it out for themselves.

A threat assessment does not say, "suspicious activity" - it says certain activity is planned. Also, some of these items say they are uncorroberated. That's not a "threat assessment".

Fox News or maybe it was MSNBC was talking about this memo and mentioned that at the G-7 meeting earlier that year, there'd been a threat that an airplane might be used to crash into the building where they were meeting. The RATS are saying since the notion of using airplanes as bombs had come up months earlier, it's not true when Condi Rice and other admin. members say the idea of airplanes used as missiles was unknown. The point seemed to be that someone in the FBI had seen the original G-7 memo, maybe had dropped the ball and not passed the info. on. So investigations are going on.

So 9/11 was bin Laden's answer to a Bill Clinton Fly Swat. The Clinton Administration should have know that they would provoke a response and they should have been preparing us to defend ourselves against that response. The ball was dropped well before the Bush Administration took over.

I guess it all depends on what the meaning of the word "specific" is. In most dictionaries, the word "specific" means precise; definite; explicit. Liberals obviously have a broader interpretation of the word when it suits their purposes.

How do you figure that. Mueller didn't even get into office until about 6 weeks before 9/11.

The FBI was more focused on Clinton's personal police work - like checking on Monica and Linda Tripp. I think the guy who held the office prior to Mueller should be called to account.

I saw David Gregory on NBC & MSNBC who has a completely negative view of this report. His take was that there were warnings and the question is "what did the White House do about it." DUH! It is just amazing, or maybe it shouldn't be, that these liberal reporters could make such "gotcha" views of this. This is nothing.

Of course, Mr. Gregory didn't mention the analysis of the report that was with the briefing. It was written because of QUESTIONS POSED BY THE PRESIDENT ABOUT HIS CONCERNS OF AN ATTACK IN THE U.S. SINCE ALL THE INTELLIGENCE WAS POINTING OVERSEAS. Gregory didn't think that was important enough to report.

The liberal media are going to do everything they can to bring this president down, even if they have to lie and deceive. This should concern us all.

You know, the bottom line that just deconstructs all of this hoopla is to just ask, "exactly what action would you take based on this information".

For example, if we'd reacted to the hijacking information at the time it was received, every airport in the country would have been shut down since 1998.

The only way an unbiased observer could find anything actionable in the document is by applying "woulda, coulda, shoulda".

Not that that'll stop the spinning, of course, but the important thing is for more of the public to become aware of the disparity between Demo spin and reality and the more they try to gin up a "smoking gun" out of this document, the more obvious they become.
