One cannot conclude that the Jews "discovered" America from this article. If you believe everything in it the best that can be surmised is that the Phoencians discovered it; they were the sailors of the ancient Middle East. That is not a new idea but has support from other people.

If the find is real it must be Phoenician artifact. Although Phoenician and Hebrew languages and alphabets are very similar, it is politheistic Phoenicians who were sea faring people. Monotheistic Hebrews were land oriented.

Linguistic studies prove that the Welsh language is very closely akin to ancient Hebrew!

IINM, Welsh is a branch of the Celtic languages (which include Cornish, no longer spoken), a branch of the Indo-European language family. Hebrew and Phoenician are Semitic languages.

Interestingly, ancient Maori traditions relate that since antiquity the Maoris have observed ceremonial and dietary laws very similar to those of the ancient Hebrews.

Care to get more specific? I googled the name and couldn't find anything to show he was Mormon. His work is naturaly cited by Mormons, but I also found Jewish sites with articles from him on them.
